Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
The idea of being a superhero or a savior didn't really strike Autumn as something that she cared deeply about. The part that she cared about was being able to live every day like her life was a dream; but hey, if she could help people in the process, why not? While she didn't really fully understand what was meant by Calli saying to do away with the agents of darkness Autumn just figured it was pretty straightforward. If magic was real then there were probably some evil magical creatures out there somewhere lurking in the shadows; or people who used magic to harm others. She didn't necessarily want to have to fight other people or anything like that... but if it would grant her wish and make her dreams come to life, then wouldn't it be worth it?[break][break] Unfortunately it seemed as if she didn't have a whole lot of time to decide, so Autumn would just have to roll with it. This was what she had always wanted, even if it wasn't quite how she pictured it happening. She just needed to help make the world a better place... right? It didn't matter how that was being accomplished; all she had to do was do a good thing and she could live her dreams. "W-well..." Autumn would think for just a moment longer before continuing on. "I just... don't really know what to wish for? Having magic would make every day like a dream... but I guess I wish I could have it be like my own dreams and not just any dream. I'd want to be able to bring my dreams to life and share them with others." TAGS:ADMIN
As Calli went on to introduce herself and explain the situation that Autumn now found herself in the blonde would just listen intently, making a mental note of the woman's name and trying her best to understand the description of star seeds. It was something new to her, sure... but it seemed relatively simple in theory. It wasn't until the part about being able to live every day like a dream that Autumn would first perk up, however; a bit of a sparkle in her eyes as a wave of excitement washed over her. "I-is all of that really possible?"[break][break] Of course she believed Calli, at least for now. With everything going on around the two how could she not? Autumn was just still a bit hesitant with the fact that it all seemed just too good to be true. "The part about being able to live life like a dream, I mean." If it was really true then that in and of itself would be more than enough to sate Autumn's desires. "If so, I don't even really know what else I could even wish for..."[break][break] The only concern she really had left was what Calli wanted in return. After spending a few moments lost in thought about what her heart could possibly desire other than being able to make real life more like a dream she would address the issue. "S-so, if everything you're saying is true... I just need to help you and I can make my life become like a dream? But if you can do all of this..." She would just gesture to the world around them. "Then how could I even help someone like you?" TAGS:ADMIN
[attr="class","autumn_main"] As Autumn took off towards the stairs she wouldn't have even looked back to see if Yvette was following her. Instead she was too focused on whatever was going on around them to pay any mind to the other girl... at least until she found herself seeming to leave the store entirely. As the world around her began to swirl into purple and pink Autumn would finally stop moving and look around in awe. Even so she was now too enthralled by what was going on around her to notice she was completely alone, the voice of the other female being the only thing to break her little trance just as she was pulled in through the door.[break][break] At first Autumn would have been a bit concerned, though when the woman before her didn't seem to be very threatening Autumn would just smile at her. If the rest of what was going on around her hadn't been so bizarre then perhaps she would have been more taken aback by the fact her name was already known but this was by far the least crazy thing going on at the moment. Once the scenery around them shifted once more Autumn's gaze would once again wander towards her surroundings, doing her best to listen to the person who summoned her here while completely captivated by the starry sky. "It looks like it does in my dreams..."[break][break] After a few moments passed her attention would turn back to the other woman, a smile still on her face. "Even if I didn't before... how could I not now?" She would just laugh a little bit. "Who are you? And why me? How am I special?" TAGS:ADMIN
As time seemed to slow to a stop and everything eventually froze in place... well, at first Autumn actually wouldn't notice. At the moment all of her attention was on Yvette and considering Yvette wasn't acting out of the ordinary just yet Autumn didn't even register what was going on around her until a little while later when she saw someone standing unnervingly still out of the corner of her eye. Unless Yvette had taken the CD within those few seconds then Autumn would have simply lowered it down onto the table and finally looked around. It wasn't until after the voice rang out in her head that she would have been snapped out of frantically looking around the store and spoke up again. "U-um... are you seeing this too? Did you hear that?"[break][break] Without waiting for a response from Yvette Autumn would have spun towards the stairs, pointing over in that direction as she would pinpoint the direction the voice seemed to be coming from. "That way!" No time would have been wasted as the blonde would have started rushing off towards the stairs, heading down to the first floor in order to see what was happening. Maybe if she found the source of the voice everything would go back to normal? TAGS:ADMINYVETTE YAMAMOTO
As she ran the only thing Autumn could think about was getting as far away from here as possible. She didn't know what was going on or why it was happening... or even if the rest of the city was safe, come to think of it. The moment she realized that last bit her mind would wander to her parents, worried that they had somehow got caught up in all of this mess and hoping that they were okay. For now, however, she couldn't afford to take her attention off of the situation at hand. Instead she would just continue to run as fast as she could, even though she knew that just running wouldn't solve anything and eventually the problem had to get dealt with. She just didn't want to be there if things got even more out of control than they already were.[break][break] After a little while she would have glanced back one last time to see if Signus was following her and also to check if any of the skeletons would have made an appearance behind them. Unfortunately Autumn would have picked a pretty bad time to look back instead of keeping her eyes ahead of her; as she did so the rattling of bones would be able to be heard from the direction she was running. As the skeleton finished mauling a bystander who was unlucky enough to have not been able to escape in time and had been hiding around the corner it would have moved out into the open, directly in the path where Autumn was running. Then all of a sudden a sequence of snaps and cracks would be heard as both Autumn would inadvertently have shoulder tackled the skeleton.[break][break] As the two came crashing down to the ground Autumn would wind up landing on top of the risen soldier, shattering it to pieces and sending fragments of bones skittering across the ground in all directions. It wasn't the most graceful- or intentional- way to take out one of the enemies... but hey, whatever worked, right? "Owwww..." As Autumn lay on the ground she would eventually roll over, wincing a bit from the pain of colliding with bone and concrete. A few cuts would be visible on her arms and legs from some of the sharper pieces of broken bone, however there were luckily no major injuries. For a few seconds she would just lay there in a daze, recovering from the fall and regaining her composure. TAGS:ADMINSignus [break] TLDR: While running away from the location she was at previously, Autumn ends up running directly into one skeleton and shattering it to pieces by accidentally tackling it onto concrete. Oops! She's currently recovering from the fall.
At first Autumn's face would light up with joy, extremely excited to have found someone who could actually help out with the event she was involved with. Someone who was passionate about music and talented! It really seemed to be absurdly good luck that Autumn had run into this girl today; after all, she was walking out of it with a new band to check out and someone to help her with her performance. Yet she was still blissfully unaware of the fact that Yvette had taken insult to this whole scenario... up until the point where it was blatantly obvious that she had felt insulted. A nervous chuckle would escape the blonde as she would blush a bit, shifting around a little and looking off to the side. "A-ah, I didn't... I just meant it's hard to find someone last minute, you know?"[break][break] However the moment that Yvette seemed to agree to the event Autumn would light up again. Most of the worry of having deeply offended the girl would have been pushed to the back of her mind as a bright smile would cross her face and she'd look back up to Yvette instead of off to the side. "Wait, really? You'll be there?" She was so excited again! This was going to end up being absolutely amazing; way better than she ever could have imagined! "Awesome! Thank you soooo much! Here, one sec..."[break][break] With that Autumn would have went rummaging through her purse, eventually finding a pen to write with and the receipt from her breakfast this morning to write on the back of. After quickly scribbling down her name, address and phone number- as well as the time and place of the event- Autumn would smile again and hold out the receipt towards Yvette. "My name's Autumn, by the way. If you have any questions about anything you can give me a call or stop by my place." If Yvette were to study the address- depending on how familiar she was with the area- or look it up later, she'd likely be able to tell it was an estate in the richer part of town. If she were to flip over the receipt, however, she'd notice that Autumn had a quite delicious bacon, egg and cheese bagel with French vanilla coffee for breakfast this morning from a local café. "I can't wait! This is going to be amazing~"[break][break] For a moment she was too lost in her own excitement to remember what this had all been about to begin with, though shortly afterwards the realization would pop into her mind and she'd remember. "Oh, right! The CD!" At that point she would hold the CD out towards Yvette- along with the receipt if she had yet to take it- and laugh a bit. "I almost forgot. But yeah, it's all yours. Let me know how it is, okay? I'm curious now." TAGS:YVETTE YAMAMOTO
When Signus managed to both deal with the skeleton coming up behind him and the one he had already been facing Autumn would just let out a sigh of relief. She didn't want to see anyone get hurt but she knew she wasn't going to be much use here, at least not when it came to actually fighting. It was something that would cause her to blush a bit and look off to the side when Signus asked her to help take the rest of the skeletons out. In response Autumn would just shake her head a few times, still glancing off to the side and down towards the ground a bit as she would bite her bottom lip. "N-no th-thanks. I'm n-not a fighter."[break][break] It was a mixture of embarrassment and a little bit of fear that would cause the little bit of stuttering. To people like Signus this might not seem like a big deal, however to someone like Autumn- who up until this point was completely unaware this kind of thing could even happen in the world- even these weak skeletal underlings were enough to make her feel afraid and uneasy. It was something he might be able to pick up on if Signus were able to notice her eyes darting around even as she looked off to the side, as if she was trying to stay alert and keep an eye out for any other ambush that might happen. Though suddenly her head would raise again and she'd seem to get another burst of energy. "Oh! Your shoulder! Are you going to be okay?!"[break][break] While she wanted desperately to help him at the moment Autumn also knew that staying here was a bad, bad idea... especially as the sound of rattling bones was still able to be heard in the distance, getting louder with each passing second. "We need to get out of here, fast!" With that Autumn would start running again, grabbing Signus by the front of his shirt to give him a slight tug along after her before letting go of him and continuing to run, hoping he would get the message. "Let's go!" And with that she was off, only looking back to see what Signus would do if she wasn't able to hear either his footsteps following her or him talking to her at a relatively consistent volume afterwards. Though as fate would have it, she would start leading them off towards the other group that had started to form; it would just take a while to actually reach them, so who knows what could happen in the meantime. TAGS:ADMINSignus(Primary)|YVETTE YAMAMOTOÉmilie CadenceENZO PATELCassian Gérardjulius vesper(Secondary)[break] TLDR: After Signus took care of the skeletons, Autumn quickly asked if he was okay but decided it was best not to stay in one spot for two long. She took off, attempting to bring Signus with her. Whether lucky or not, she started leading the two of them off towards the group of Yvette, Emilie, Enzo, Cassian and Julius... but they're still a good bit away, so there's time for things to interrupt that. (Whether you guys want to actually meet up or not is up to you, I just rolled to see if she would end up heading towards them or away from them and ended up with her heading in that direction. Any of you, especially Signus, feel free to change the course of action if you would like.)
All of Autumn's focus at the moment would have been on escaping from the carnage currently filling the streets. For the most part she would have been looking straight ahead, sprinting as fast as she could away from the skeletons while only glancing over her shoulder every once in a while early on to see if she was still being followed. After a little while she even stopped glancing back completely and started to assume that if she could still hear the rattling of bones behind her she just needed to run faster; though the high heels were definitely making that a bit more difficult than it should be. Fortunately while it definitely slowed her down it didn't seem to slow her down enough for the skeletons to be able to catch her, at least for now.[break][break] With her undivided attention on making sure she wasn't running into any more skeletons the approaching man was something she didn't notice except for catching a glimpse of something moving out of the corner of her eye. Without being able to tell what it was and not willing to look back to find out it would have just prompted her to keep running... right up until the point where she heard bones clanking to the floor and a human voice screaming out in pain. When Autumn glanced over her shoulder out of curiosity this time she would finally see Signus fending off the skeletons that had been chasing her, a sigh of relief being let out as she would stop running for the first time since this whole thing started. She figured she could at least use this opportunity to catch her breath if nothing else.[break][break] At the moment Autumn wouldn't speak up, not wanting to distract the man from his current opponent. She would just keep an eye out for him and check up on him afterwards to make sure that he was okay. But... how could he stay so calm in the middle of all of this? Autumn's chest was pounding from both running for so long and all of the adrenaline, yet this man seemed perfectly at ease aside from the pain of his injury. Well, there had to be some people who had the fight instinct and not the flight instinct, right? Otherwise this whole mess would never get cleaned up.[break][break] In the midst of her analyzing the situation Autumn would hear some more rattling sounds coming from between her and Signus, her eyes quickly scanning the scene and trying to determine what was going on. Then she would see it; yet another skeleton rushing out of an alleyway and charging at Signus from behind. She may not have been a fighter but she could at least keep him from being ambushed! "Watch out! Another one behind you!" She figured he could probably hear the rattling of the bones but just in case he was too focused on his current opponent she wanted to let him know. Besides, maybe this would get this new skeleton's attention on herself... and if it did, well, back to running! TAGS:ADMINSignus[break] TLDR: Autumn stops running and turns around after Signus gets injured by the remaining skeleton. She decides to wait until after the fight to check to make sure he's okay, however while waiting she notices one skeleton rushing up behind Signus to ambush him and calls out to warn him.
Again Autumn's initial reaction would just be to stand there blinking for a little while, a bit confused at the seemingly hostile reaction she was getting from this other girl. Didn't people usually like when you expressed an interest in the things they liked, especially when this girl had just been speaking about it so passionately only moments ago? At least things started to make a little bit more sense when Yvette started to go into what Autumn thought was her reasoning, the whole bit about it being their third studio album and starting at the beginning made sense. At that point a nervous chuckle would have been let out by the blonde as she would start to rub the back of her head slightly. "A-ah, right. That makes sense, I guess. I'll have to look them up when I get home then."[break][break] It didn't really make a whole lot of sense to her why Yvette kept demanding for the CD. Honestly Autumn wasn't really all that caught up on the idea of making sure that she left with the CD; in fact, she was probably just going to hand over the CD after deciding she could just find the music online somewhere. However during this time of silence where she was thinking it seemed that Yvette would have moved to take the initiative, proposing to pay Autumn for the CD before she even purchased it. Yet again Autumn would find herself just standing there blinking, not fully registering what was happening at the moment despite the frenzy that Yvette seemed to be in over this CD. After a few more seconds passed Autumn would let out another nervous chuckle and just look over the CD one more time, flipping it over again in her hands. "Huh? How much?"[break][break] For a moment she would have still pondered the idea. It wasn't so much that she wasn't willing to give the CD, more so that now she just felt uncomfortable with the idea of taking money from the girl. "I don't really need any money or anything, honestly. I have plenty." It probably came off as being really full of herself but Autumn was just being honest; plus she didn't want to make this girl pay for the CD twice, you know? After another second or two she would let out another nervous chuckle... before coming to a sudden realization. Maybe this could work out for both of them after all! "Oh! Actually, I do have an idea. I have to do a music performance for a charity event that's coming up in a few days but it's really hard to find someone to perform with me on such short notice. Are you a musician? Or at least able to play some kind of instrument or sing or something? If so we could work something out where you perform with me. Honestly at this point I'd take anything I could get!" She meant it as a way to say she was desperate... but any normal person would have realized that her comment could easily come off as condescending. TAGS:YVETTE YAMAMOTO
The smile on Autumn's face would rapidly turn into a look of confusion at the other girl's reaction- though unlike Yvette, she would have been blissfully oblivious to the fact that they looked so similar. It was more due to her mind being on other things at the moment than anything else but nonetheless it went unnoticed. Instead the blonde would have honed in on the fact that this other girl seemed to be a bit offended that Autumn had never heard of this band, which would have caused her to examine the CD a bit further and flip it over to check the track list- an action that would inadvertently have led to Autumn moving the CD just out of Yvette's reach. She was pretty sure she had at least heard of the band but it was pretty far outside of her usual taste in music (at least regarding the songs she listened to on a regular basis) and so she would just shrug a bit, resigned to the idea that she had no idea who they were. "Are they really that popular? I may have heard some of their songs before, if that's the case. I can't really remember though."[break][break] The 'doppelganger' comment would have gone over her head due to how hard Autumn was trying to remember anything about this band, however the comments that followed definitely hit home. It was a bit inspiring to hear someone speaking with such passion about music, especially since music was definitely a passion of Autumn's. The only problem was that in defending the greatness of Class Black and their musical style, Yvette would have ended up making Autumn even more intrigued by them. Now she wanted even more than before to experience the 'musical genius' that was Class Black's new CD! "You seem to be a big fan of theirs, huh? It sounds like they're pretty good then! This type of stuff tends to be a bit outside the scope of what I usually listen to but it sounds like I'll have to check them out. Thanks!"[break][break] The smile on her face would have returned at that point. Though it may have looked like a triumphant one to Yvette, to Autumn it was just to express her appreciation for Yvette giving her some knowledge about the band. Somehow the blonde still didn't seem to realize that Yvette was frustrated and agitated with her, she just figured it had been a long day for the other girl. "Also, I don't think we've ever met before? I haven't lived here very long. My family moved here at the start of summer but I wasn't really around until the end of it. Unless you maybe go to my university?" TAGS:YVETTE YAMAMOTO
Halloween was one of those holidays that Autumn never lost interest in; where that interest was placed simply shifted throughout the years. As a kid it was just fun to run around and get as much candy as possible, laughing with your friends about who had the silliest costume and getting scared by the spooky decorations. It was a lot more carefree then, if she had to be honest. While her focus now was still on having fun the candy she now received was store bought by herself and the costumes she wore were now focused on how to be as cute as possible without being a slut. Sure, she switched from big bulky full body suits to high heels, thigh high stockings, a short skirt, a ripped shirt and makeup... but she wasn't about to go parading around half naked in the cold like a lot of the other female college freshmen seemed to think was a good idea. Revealing enough to be cute and sexy, not revealing enough to be slutty; or at least that was the goal, which she believed she managed to reach quite nicely. She even made the entire costume herself this year, ending up looking like what she considered to be an exceptionally attractive zombie.[break][break] While she was no longer going around Trick-or-Treating like the children, Autumn was still wandering around the streets of Palais-Bourbon around the same time as them all. However unlike many of the younger children who had their night ending, Autumn's night was just starting. After all, tonight was the first big themed party night of her entire university career! A few people from her classes had invited her out to a Halloween party and since she was trying to actually live the college experience (despite still living at home with her parents this year) she decided to go. As long as she didn't get too out of control- which she wanted to avoid anyway- she would be fine, right? Right![break][break] Or so she thought, anyway... considering it seemed like the night had something else in store for her. As the skeletal army started to rise Autumn's first reaction would have been to blink a few times, thinking she may have fallen asleep before going out and that she was dreaming. However when she couldn't just will the skeletons away or wake herself up like she normally could she would just blink a few more times. It took about thirty seconds after that for it to fully sink in that getting too drunk or being late to the party were the least of her problems now but when it finally did... well, one more person would be added to the crowd of people running around aimlessly and screaming. While at the moment she was at the edge of the scene, away from most of the other individuals who had already begun to deal with the issue, unfortunately in her panic Autumn would end up attracting three of the skeletons and start leading them towards the others. TAGS:ADMIN[break] TLDR: Autumn is running in high heels down the streets with three skeletons chasing her, heading from the outskirts of this little escapade towards the center of the skeletal army. If anyone wants to get her involved in their scene feel free (just make sure to tag me), otherwise I will be randomly choosing who she led them to in my next post.

The Les Quatre-temps Mall didn't seem to be anything super fancy from what Autumn had seen so far, though it was definitely still a pretty amazing place to be. Although she had been here a few times already the place was too big for her to explore fully all at once; mostly because of the fact that she never really came here with the intent of dedicating a full day to wandering around aimlessly and seeing what the place had to offer. Today was the first day that Autumn had really decided to just come here to relax and look around since moving to New Paris not that long ago. Well, really she moved here a few months ago... but with her trip for summer vacation starting a few days after moving here and lasting the entirety of summer she had some catching up to do on getting to know what the city- and all the places of interest in it- were like. From what she could tell the mall was supposed to be for everyone and despite the occasional high class restaurant or fancy store meant to attract a wealthier audience Autumn could tell that this was the place to be if you needed something or wanted to shop around. With all the different stores and restaurants she had seen so far she figured you could get just about anything your heart desired here. At the moment, however, one store in particular had taken her interest.[break][break] Radio-Active! From what Autumn could see from the outside it seemed to be a fairly large, rather extravagant music store. For a little while she would have been peeking through the windows and trying to get an idea of what could be found inside. Everything from CDs to instruments to merchandise from popular bands seemed to be in stock, with plenty of each type of item to choose from. It even seemed to have a second floor from the staircase and escalator she could see near the middle of the store! Unfortunately there wasn't really a good way for her to get an idea of what might be up there just yet, however it didn't really matter at this point. Autumn had already made up her mind about going inside and looking around the moment she looked into the window. She just hoped that they had some interesting CDs she could pick out for today and a nice selection of violins and keyboards to look through. It had been a while since she bought herself a new violin so it would be nice to have one she could travel with; plus the piano she had at home wasn't exactly portable in any way, shape or form. Would she buy a new instrument today? Probably not... maybe. It would still be nice to know what they had available though.[break][break] A few minutes later Autumn would find herself inside, wandering around eagerly with her eyes darting around the entirety of the establishment like she was a kid in a candy store. It would be another half hour or so before she actually managed to do anything other than walk around filled with childish glee, finally regaining some of her composure after exploring most of the lower floor of the store. It seemed like they had literally everything down here! CDs, instruments, merchandise, equipment, MP3 players, stereos, studio building materials; you name it, they had it. It was because of that that Autumn was completely baffled with what could even be on the second floor. Naturally her curiosity would get the best of her and she would rush over towards the stairs shortly after the question entered her mind, hurrying up to the second floor while being careful not to bump into anyone or cause anyone else any problems... only to have her mind completely blown for a second time.[break][break] The second floor was even more intense than the first, with brilliant displays of exclusive merchandise, instruments designed and signed by famous musicians, new and limited releases and so on. There was even a stage on the far side of the room where it looked like they had live performances and a sectioned off area that could hold an audience! Autumn couldn't believe it had taken her so long to find this store considering the fact that it had so quickly become her new favorite place in the entire mall. All that meant was that she needed to make up for lost time, so she was definitely going to pick out one or two things to get from this floor before going back down to shop for the rest of her CDs and look through the instruments down there. She didn't really even know where to begin up here so for now she would just walk over to the closest display, which seemed to be home to some limited release album and merchandise from what appeared to be some kind of rock band. Out of curiosity Autumn would just walk up to the table and grab a CD, looking it over on both sides before looking around a bit. With a smile on her face she would turn to the nearest person and pose a simple, innocent question. "Hey, do you know if this band is any good? I've never heard of them."[break] TAGS:YVETTE YAMAMOTO
