Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
Julius could not believe he was doing this. It wasn't that he never played a video game before, of course, he has. There were people older than him who have played video games, some even still do to this day. It was just...he had a very selective type of games that he enjoyed playing. Namely mystery and puzzle games, which was probably what had once inspired him to try to be a detective. However, the machine he stood in front of was neither a puzzle or a mystery game. It wasn't even a platformer where all he had to do was jump around. Oh no, it was a shooting game that went under the name of Chrono Crisis. The screen demanded the insertion of coins before the plastic gun linked to the machine would be of any use.[break][break]
A sigh parted from his lips as he looked around feeling awkward. He really stood out in this place. To think, this was what he was doing on his day off. Almost hesitantly he placed the demanded amount of coins and the announcer declared that 'player one' is now active. Next, he picked up the gun and he was presented with the first level of the game. They played some scene that seemed like it belonged in some eighties action movie before he was given control. Instantly, he started to shoot at the digital humans only to find himself missing most of the shot. Although apparently, he did a very good job at slamming his foot on the pedal to duck and reload. [break][break]
It was just that he didn't even get past the first level before time had run out with the game demanding more money in exchange for a continue. As if, anyone would want to continue playing a game where the purpose was to shoot people indiscriminately. Gray eyes narrowed at the screen, "just how does anyone enjoy this?" he couldn't help but ask. If it wasn't for the fact that he needed some practice aiming for when youmas attack, he would never touch such a horrible game.
"bang!" screamed a voice, "bang, bang! bang-bang!" with a chime, a ring, and a ding; these were the sounds that indicated, with each shot taken, there was a successful point added to his score. he was proud of himself, and no one could take his fun away.
beside him were five men, and, currently, three women. the women were raging with screams and the men praised him for his handiwork. "you can't call yourself the king of games and if you can't throwdown in a simple shooter arcade." a cheeky grin. the blue haired male blew upon the toy gun as if it were a real one. sticking the mechanical machinery back into the holster of the game he played. sauvage would come to notice that there was a ravenette male beside him who was failing.
the boy looked down in the dump and, being the kind guy he was, slammed the left palm of his hand upon the male's back--without warning mind you. "hey, hey, hey! cheer up there guy, you don't want to look uncool in front of these beautiful ladies do you?" this was his spot when he came to blow off some steam or get a little rest and relaxation--he didn't need some unwanted blowing his negativity in the air around him. "it's just a game, we all can't be good at everything--like me!" pointing with his thumb toward himself, "i'm just terrible when it comes to being on my best behavior--y'know? when people make you mad, you just need to wail on them before they can keep going on. so, just treat the game like your shooting the person you hate the most!" placing the palm of the exact same hand upon the male's shoulder this time, sauvage's grin never wavered.
"if there's one thing i wish i was good at was singing, am i right ladies?!" a roaring laughter ensued with the group. drifting his eyes toward his fellow youth, he'd ask, "why don't you come hangout with us for a bit in this joint loner boy. you don't wanna look anymore uncool then you already do, aye? you can come eat with us, my treat--i like meeting simpletons like yourself!" sauvage grinned.
notes: ahhh, i'm so excited to thread with you! julius vesper
While it was clear that Julius was not very fond of shooting games, not everyone was like him. Case in point, the blue haired man and his little group. Hearing someone declaring himself a 'king of games' had made the white-tipped haired male mentally wince. Did he hear the words that came out of his mouth? Then again, maybe this was one of those professional video games players he had heard about. He can never understand the professional world at times.[break][break]
Either way, the prosecutor had done his best to ignore what the other was saying and instead debated if he wanted to spend more money on this or not. He needed the practice if he was going to get better with using his powers. Yet, did he have to shoot people? There had to be other shooting- before he can fully deliberate on his options, there was a sudden impact against his back that had caused him to stumble and drop the gun. Fortunately, he managed to catch himself before smacking into the machine, gray eyes slowly looking over to see it was that same blue haired male.[break][break]
At the mention of women, he looked over at some of the woman in the group who seemed to be giggling or snickering. Was it common for people to look at others when they were busy with something? His attention then went back to the blue haired male who gave him the advice of imagining the person to be someone he hated the most. It..wasn't a bad advice but at the same time Julius didn't exactly want anyone dead or shot. "You shouldn' be promoting violence," the words parted from his lips, his face dispassioned as usual. Truly, was this what people meant when they were complaining about violent video games? Julius was starting to agree with them.[break][break]
Yet...he still needed practice. And well...glancing over at the man's screen, he seemed to be doing much better than Julius. Not that it was a feat, but the comparison was still there. And then came the rather backhanded compliment. Julius arched a brow looking at the man and the group. "I can..treat myself," he informed the other. It wasn't like he didn't have the money that he needed someone to treat him. "But...I'll accept the offer..." it wasn't so much because he wanted to spend time with these people though. Not at all. "I can....appreciate...some....advice..." he stated before gesturing over to the game. Although, he supposed they weren't going to just do that all day. "No...singing though...please..." the idea of doing a karaoke in front of people didn't sound very fun.[break][break]
It also seemed that Julius had said the right thing as a few in the group had given a whistle along with a cheer. Well, it was either that or they were amused. Julius didn't really know and he wasn't sure if he wanted to know.[break][break]
note: same! ignore julius, he's just a grumpy pants.
"great, great!" he merrily mused. slinging an arm over the male's shoulder, sauvage would say, "look buddy, violence is apart of life. i don't encourage it--i lived it!" guiding him toward a spacious table next to the entrance. they'd take a window booth. releasing the ravenette, sauvage took his seat on one side and left the male to his own. plopping a seat next to one of the three women he was with. he'd sling his arm around the blonde; whereas a brunette would come to grab julius vesper by his right arm, tugged him into a both, and said, "come sit with me, cutie!" invitingly.
"listen, i'm a man of many talents. i've lived a life where violence practically ran in my family--i had to learn how to fend for myself against the world my fellow gamer. so," he lean in forward, "in a way? video games are nothing more then a representation of what we go through in everyday life." if anything, the shooting game was a hint to that statement. sauvage was no stranger to a gun, it didn't take a rocket scientist to know this. if you used a traumatizing weaponry to murder your brother, you'd want to overcome that trauma in your own way: pleasure. games were his pleasure, and ever since that day he's treated life as nothing more then a game. they were what helped him after all.
"don't get me wrong my friend, i'm not monster at all. i'm just a simple french man that enjoys his games." nuzzling the blonde woman who resided in his arms. he'd give the woman a peck upon the cheek, and drifted a gaze toward the ravenette haired male, "you like games, don't you friend?" sauvage would then remember, "oh! before you answer, my name's sauvage!" the blunet introduced himself. how could he have forgotten his manners? sauvage was such a spontaneous man that he'd always forget to introduce himself. such a talkative fellow.
notes: ermahgawd, this was high-key rushed. i'm sorry! julius vesper
Julius slightly flinched as the other male wrapped an arm around his shoulder as if they were best friends. His body guided towards a table, he listened to what the other had to say. He lived it? As he lived in a criminal family? No. That was probably not it, Julius was thinking too much. Just because he often dealt with convicts, that didn't mean that everyone who wasn't a police or a victim was a criminal. He could have grown up in a house with a martial artist or perhaps abuse. If it was the latter, hopefully, he had long left it. He seemed fine after all. Well, relatively speaking anyway. [break][break]
Once released, the prosecutor stared blankly at the blue haired male and his blond companion. He was honestly unsure where he was supposed to sit when he felt someone tug his arm. And so, Julius found himself sitting next to a brunette, who still kept a hold on his arm. Her grip wasn't tight enough to hurt, but he doubted that she would want him to leave either. Testing his ground, Julius leaned away as far as he can without moving his arm. Just enough to hopefully create a comfortable distance. He was never exactly very good with these kinds of things, especially in public when they were people who can see them. The last thing he wanted was for either of them to create the wrong impression.[break][break]
Violent running in the family. Most likely a family of martial artists then or some maybe some kind of violent sport. Gray eyes blinked before glancing back over at the many game carts. There were the shooting games the two had played earlier along with much more normal games like racing, basketball or fishing. Theoretically speaking, it did make sense. Games were made in a virtual world created by humans and like literature, it was created based on the creator's own experience and imagination. However, "it's not...very...accurate..." as there were games where racing was done on the street and including jumping bridges like some kind of action movies. The fact that the other said it so casually though...maybe his family were gun enthuiast? Julius knew at least one person who was quite fond of guns so that was a possibility. [break][break]
As if possibly reading his mind, the blue haired male stated that he wasn't a monster. Another true fact, he wasn't a criminal nor was he a corrupted...regardless of how Julius may feel about his hobbies. Gray eyes widen as the French gamer gave his companion a peck on the cheek before quickly glancing away at the scandalous act. Just how do people show that kind of affection so easily? Julius had a tough time doing such things with his own dates back before he had a career. It was just too embarrassing and the public would always feel so invasive to him. He suddenly felt someone lean on his shoulder and that was when he realized his own companion had moved so close that her thigh was touching his own. [break][break]
When Savage had introduced himself, it was a relief because it gave Julius something to distract himself with. "Jul...Julius..." introducing himself should not have been hard. It was one of the most basic things to master in social interactions but yet...it was hard when he was trying so hard not to look at his own female companion. "And...no..not...really...I...never really...played games...except..mystery games..." usually solving crimes or riddles. "So...how...do you shoot...so well?" he asked as he debated to nudge his female companion or not. Was she just tired or was she trying to display her interest for him?[break][break]
note: no worries, it's still good. also tell me if you ever need more to work with, okay?
