Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
❝ The beginning. The suggesting of infinite possibilities. ❞ [break][break] All beings in this world carry a star seed. A star seed is what has come to be known as a soul among the galaxies. While it is stated that all beings carry star seeds, beings of earth, carry a peculiar brand of star seeds. This is what makes them targets. For those who do not understand the power that resides within, wishes to grasp and control it. [break][break] While Civilians may not start off with magical capabilities, they instead, have means of exploring various options of gaining said abilities. Civilians are the only class that has the ability to choose which class, if any, they wish to evolve into. While being a vessel is out of the question, this still leaves them the options of becoming a Magi, Noblesse, or a Corrupted. The process of transforming is referred to as an "Awakening". [break][break] Civilian ▶ Magi: To become a Magi, a civilian must have made, or make a wish with an Evoker.[break] Civilian ▶ Noblesse: To become a Noblesse, a civilian must form a contract with a Contractor.[break] Civilian ▶ Corrupted: To become a Corrupted, a civilian must be granted power from a Vice.[break] [break] ( See Awakening threads Here ) [break][break] These options present themselves for those whose star seeds are stronger than average. The untapped magical potential is present but must be awakened by another source (all playable characters created in the civilian class have abnormal star seeds). Abnormal star seeds are capable of withstanding unwanted magical influences more so than an average star seed. Of course, prolonged exposure to said influence would be a task to fend off for one without magical prowess, they have a much better chance at hanging on until help arrives than most. The danger of battle is still an imminent danger for this class even with abnormal star seeds. Doing battle with a magical being with no magic of their own? Not a good idea. It does help that you're capable of seeing magical phenomena though, right? (unless an Sp. Ability prevents such). [break][break] Unfortunately, with boundless opportunities comes a downside. Civilians are also the prime targets for Vices. As they are... most of the time, easily susceptible to their magic and the various effects of them.
❝ He then faces Temptation. ❞ [break][break] Beings who have brought forth a Vice and have been given a partial piece of their power have become known as Corrupted. With the powers bestowed upon them, Corrupted are expected to, not only follow and heed the commands of the Vice that gave them power and align with Dark Millenia. But, fight back against those who defy Chaos and it's search for a new vessel and planet to start it's kingdom. [break][break] Generally, Corrupted have been ordered to sap the world of its energy and rip the star seeds from the weak. Bringing them to their Vice as to give them to Chaos and in turn causing the world in itself to fall under Chaos' rule. [break][break] Each Corrupted's reason(s) for working under Chaos and the Vices vary. It is clear, however, that an abundance of negative emotion(s) within the heart of an abnormal star seed at some point in their lifetime had called out to Chaos and in turn, prompted a Vice to hone into their presence. Presenting them with the option of trading in their normal human life, for a power of some sort. A magic of dark origin. [break][break] Unless kept on a leash by a stern Vice, most Corrupted have the free will to do as they please. It is only when they defy a Vice that reprimanding is usually in order. [break][break] Corrupted can still and sometimes prefer to maintain their humanoid features and appearance. It makes it easier to assimilate and snatch star seeds from the masses. However, it isn't uncommon for them to gain otherworldly features after the corruption process. Horns, fangs, etc. [break]

This Vice will not only act as their"boss" but, will also be the one who gave them power.[break][break] • Corrupted Magic and abilities are not obligated to stem from the Vice that bestowed the power upon/into them (if Pride is the Vice that gave you power, your magic does not have to be "pride" related)
❝ He then finds a glimmer of hope. ❞ [break][break] Magi are those who have come in contact with an Evoker. A being from an unknown part of the galaxy that has presented themselves to the individual at an opportune moment. Opportune for whom, though? Is the question. [break][break] Upon being met with an Evoker, the human is given the opportunity to make a wish. One that could be of anything their heart desires. And it will surely come true. However, in return, they must do battle on behalf of the Evoker and collect Grief seeds. [break][break] The wishes come with a warning and rules. The warning is given to each human before the wish is granted: "Once you speak your wish into existence, there is no returning to the life you once lived." And the rules, are as follows: [break][break] 1.) No wish shall be granted that will, either directly or indirectly, cause any other entity, including the wish maker, physical, emotional or psychological harm, unless there are positive long-term effects for either the subject of the wish or for society as a whole on any level.[break] 2.) No wish shall be granted that encroaches upon the principles of diversity, equality, and autonomy and the free expression thereof, in particular, the establishment of a dictatorship.[break] 3.) No wish shall be granted involving, either directly or indirectly, the acquisition of nuclear arms by any entity for any reason or the rewriting of time or the 12 universal laws.[break] 4.) No wish can induct immortality or the granting of more wishes [break] [break] Once the human has made their wish, their magic will stem from said wish. They will also be presented with an item known as a soul gem. A soul gem replaces that of a star seed in which the Magi's soul rests within. Soul gems allow for the physical body to take damage while keeping the soul intact. However, if the soul gem is snatched from the body and corrupted or destroyed, so is the Magi. [break]

You are given 1 reroll for a new set of magic themes.
❝ He then is rewarded with a bright future. ❞ [break][break] There are beings who walk among planet earth who hail from other locations within the galaxy. These beings all have their own reasons for seeking refuge on Earth. Whether they have been hunted down or fled a destroyed planet. These beings have grown weaker, unable to fight. So they have been forced to pass their magic off to another. Those who inherit the magic, are called the Noblesse. [break][break] The Noblesse are magically aware and inclined humans who have been granted power from a Contractor to do with as they please. But with this power, comes a price. Each Contractor requires a deed or payment in exchange for the power. The specifics depend solely on the Contractor and the contract in question. If presented with the agreement, the human always has the option to deny the request without worry of harm befalling them. They will then have their memories cleansed of ever coming in contact with the Contractor. However, if the human accepts the contract, they are bound to the deed for as long as they live. [break][break] Failure to adhere to the arrangement will evoke a fate listed within the contract. [break][break] The magic in question stems from an object or item imbued with properties that react differently to the owner. Said magic, however, tends to meld and form into the will of it's new owner. And, just as magic vary, so do the items granted to the Noblesse. Do keep in mind, that without your item, you are powerless. The items, although imbued with magic, are not indestructible. And while they can be stolen, the magic within them can only be used by other Noblesse that are aware of how it works. [break]

❝ Only then will a traveler's story live on. ❞ [break][break] Chaos has run rampant throughout history. Crossing the cosmos in search for its goal. And, there have been many that have taken a stand against and fought to push back the entity for as long as they possibly could. However, in their lifetime, they were not successful. Their love for mankind, the power of emotion that resided in those they fought for in tandem with their own magic abilities allowed their souls to be preserved even after death. These souls wander about the galaxy in search of a fitting host to use their magic in battle against Choas once more. Those chosen, are known as Vessels. [break][break] Unlike the other classes prior, Vessels are not born regular humans. Instead, they have always had the dormant soul of a past spirit living within them. Capable of using their magic from birth. the magic given to Vessel correlates directly with the soul that resides within them. For example, if a Vessel hosts the soul of Zeus within them, their magic may be that of a lightning focus. [break][break] Vessels are not restricted to human beings of legend inhabiting their souls either. Creatures from across the cosmos have also fallen in battle to chaos, and have been given the chance to fight back once more using a host body. [break][break] And, while the Vessel has the majority of control when it comes to their actions, thoughts, emotions, and etc; the will and desires of the soul have the possibility of meshing and mixing with the Vessel. [break]

(Jesus, John, Mary, etc.)[break][break] • Creatures such as dragons, phoenixes (no reviving), and mermaids are accepted![break][break] • Your magic should tie into the soul that inhabits your vessel to some degree.
The five classes are not the only classes available. Throughout character development, events, and side-stories; there may come opportunities to awaken other classes. A prompt of some sort will be given under these circumstances and a post detailing the class and its requirements will appear underneath this post!
