Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
He felt a chill run down his spine that made him slightly shiver. The cold november air was another sign that allowed him to know of the changes in the weather. The unbearable heat of summer had long been replaced by a coldness that would make anyone feel uneasy. A sign that told him that winter was on its way. It was still the middle of fall technically, but that won't last very long. Time has a weird way of flying by like that after all. Just like the time of halloween night.
It happened nearly two weeks ago, but the events were so fresh in his mind that it was as if it all just happened. What seemed like a simple night to clear his head with a walk turned into a scene ripped from a horror movie. He probably could have convinced himself that it was just a dream. A horrible nightmare that was the product of working himself too much, but he would only be lying to himself. His body was proof of that.
It was hard to tell, but on his body was a series of bandages. They were wrapped around his head, back, and left arm. Places where he received wounds from fighting the skeleton army. The ones on his head were slightly covered by his white hat. He would have been in worst shape if he kept fighting. Thankfully, his body convinced him by reminding him of the gash that was on his back. Thankfully, someone called an ambulance for others who were injured by the skeletons.
He stood in bed for a few days, but soon he felt the need to pull himself out of bed and walk the streets. All the way back to where it happened. He lost track of time as he stood there, simply watching the tower, where the lightning struck.
Two Weeks.. Had Passed, he felt the difference since the event. The Glittering stars, the flashes of lights, the lies to his brother, the skeletal that had been attacking. All those beams of lights into the sky and far away... But he knew, thanks to her... Magic existed, It was everywhere, everything was Everywhere... how foolish he could believe men were just doing simple acts, taking certain things with just simplistic cannibalistic means and desires. She'd contacted him that night, reached out to his heart, and spoke a simple task. Find the Light, Take it for her. That, wasn't quite as easy as she made it out to be, especially when he figured out just how to tell who held the light and who did not. Specifically one individual, his brother, the guy was practical target for any magical being wishing to grab and steal his star-seed away, he vowed to learn to improve his abilities. If not for himself, then most definitely for his brother.
As such he found... Using such abilities were discomforting removing memories, changing memories, breaking relationships creating relationships. It made him feel very uncomfortable, almost as uncomfortable as the lies he held from his brother that first year their parents died. That he was just repeating events once more, but at least this time.. he was the one calling the shots, not those Lying Adults.... lying Adult, that he was. Free to lie, Free To Deceive, Free to Mislead all the children below him. Hilarious, truly.
Speaking of children, there stood a teenager he seemed lost, just standing there. Staring right at, the sky? The cold bright blue sky? With the sun shining so bright? NO wait, the Tower. "Tourist?" He asked the teen coming up behind the kid arms crossed, those hairy arms. His shirt while short sleeved looked to be a rather thick material much like a black fleece. His pants looked like regular blue jean, even held by a brown tanned belt. Hair looking rather black and neatly cut and short like some ordinary employee. He seemed to be wearing a black and tanned book bag, that was possibly holding a laptop? And Books? Oh hey a silver canteen, filled with chicken soup, Yum!
The tower. Oddly enough, it was one of the few things that made him think about the beauty of this city. It was a good reminder that there was something pass all of the ugliness and filth that filled the streets he became so familiar with. Halloween night was starting to make him feel a bit different about that now. Looking at the landmark only made him think about the horrors of that night. The skeletons rising as if hell had rejected them. The screams of children as they hugged their parent's dear life. It was all fresh in his mind.
However, the incident that happened that night was the most rememberable. The one with the mother. In his desperate attempt to fight against the invading forces, he noticed a parent and her child didn't flee with all the other festival goers. It made his instincts roar at him, telling him to do something about it. However, he couldn't. The cut on his back distracted him from it and cost a mother her life. He felt nothing, but angry when remembering this. His fists were clenched rather tightly as a result of this.
The sound of someone calling out to him was what calmed him down enough to seem like a functioning human being. A tourist? He turned his head to get a look at the adult with an eyebrow raised. His confusion only lasted a moment though. He was a Japanese boy in a foreign country, far from the land of the rising sun. It only made sense for someone to think he was just here to see the sights. "Local." He answered, with a cold tone that didn't match with his age at all.
It was something he was familiar with. People confusing him for a tourist due to being fully Japanese. It was a topic that was tiresome, so he resorted to one work replies such as the one he just gave.
The male tourist raised an eyebrow, he didn't quite catch it being rather oblivious to most things. But it did seem to make him pause in a small confusion studying the male before him, a rather asian looking kid. Was he chinese? heritance? Maybe? Local. oh! so he wasn't a tourist! Alex shifted slightly the call out growing to more of a smile. "Oh Hi! Then! "
He walked up closer looking up at the tower, "Something unusual up there?" He asked pointing toward the tower trying to figure out.. If its not the tower, then what was the guy looking at? He twisted and turn trying to figure it out, luckily no sun got into his eyes, certainly would have hurt. Finally giving up not really seeing anything, turned to give the asian chinese kid his hand in greeting. "Hey there, my name is Alex! Nice to see a fellow everyday guy!"
The boy stared at the man's hand with an expressionless face for what seemed like minutes. Inside, he felt annoyance at this man. WHy was he bothering him when he clearly didn't try to start a conversation or need anything from him. Didn't he think it was weird to talk to a kid much younger than him? His attention was soon shifted back to the tower. "No. I'm just enjoying the view. Something wrong with that?" Th question came with a narrow glare.
Rakutsu had an appreciation for the tower. The landmark had a certain beauty to it that always made his day when he passed by it. Almost like the Tokyo sky tree that can be seen from anywhere from within the city. Gazing at it was a past time best spent along in his opinion.
The look the kid gave him made him froze in his tracks the smile slightly cracking on the inside.... This guy was not nice not nice at all, was it an asian thing? Even going so far as to shift his attention back to the tower making comment about enjoying the view and something wrong with that. A wise man would have walked away thought this kid wanted to be left alone.... He wasn't the brightest, especially when it came to people. A grin just grew as he pressed on even drawing very nicely toward the young male. Absolutely nothing! Why doesn't it look so cool! All the various geometry and mathematics went to design the whole thing? " He placed his hands upward as if the fingers somehow helped create the giant eiffel tower.
