FRIENDS
it isn't hard for julius to have acquaintances or to even have amicable relationships with other people. however, for the most part, due to his withdrawn nature, julus will rarely ever be the first to initiate any kind of relationship. this is due to a mix of his preference to be alone with his thoughts, his social awkwardness and his hesitance in debating on what would be the "right" thing to say. however, when he is spoken to, he would try to have some kind of a reply even if it may take him a moment to sort out his response. those with patience would be the ones with the best chance of befriending julius.with that said though, maybe julius would have some childhood friends. even if he is more likely to be a quiet person, that doesn't mean that he was a complete loner. childhood friends would also probably be people that he would be more open and be faster in responding to if only because he doesn't feel as if he has to constantly be careful with his words in comparison to strangers.
julius is also quite fond of literature so it would be cute if there was a book club of sorts where they sit down and talk about a book they all agreed to read. in fact, julius would probably talk a lot during book club meetings dissecting and analyzing characters in a similar way where he can actually talk quite a lot in court when things are not as personal for him.
seeming one-sided friendships might also be fun. julius has high standards for what he considers to be a friend. in other words what he thinks as 'friends' is what people would think of as 'close friends'. in other words, casual friendships just don't occur to the man. so maybe there could be someone who sees him as a casual friend and says that they are his friend and he just looks at them like "we are?
"also apartment mates for those who have characters that live in an apartment. i just think it would be fun to have characters share the same appartment complex and possibly get into hijinks. espcially since julius has just moved into his new appartment this year. but yes, please appartment mates people DX.
but yeah just some friendship plot ideas with julius.
ENEMIES
julius really doesn't want to hate people but unfortunately, that doesn't mean that he is incapable of it. he's only human after all. with that said anyone who is a criminal would be considered to be his enemy, that is if he was to find out about such a thing. he doesn't care if the crime is killing someone, a con artist, or even someone trying to rob a local convenience store. if you commit a crime, he will literally hate you just on that principle. he also doesn't care for your reasoning whether you were threatened or if you had to do so in order to help some sick relative get medication, he doesn't care. a criminal to him will always be a criminal. so yeah, he has a very black and white viewpoint.it is also very possible to hate julius as it is possible to hate anyone else. the fact that julius has such a black and white view of the world could get on some people's nerves because things aren't always that black and white. or maybe your family member was put into jail by him recently. naturally those who are corruption will also be an enemy of his due to the fact that he's kind of supposed to hunt them down. i would also imagine defense attorneys would also not be a very big fan of him due to the fact that they are on opposing sides of the law. there is also the fact that he clearly doesn't like taking plea bargains and can be quite harsh in the courtroom.
but yeah a few plot ideas. i'm honestly also totally up for enemy plots and conflicts in general. those can always be fun.
LOVERS
despite julius's withdrawn and socially awkward nature, i imagine he had probably dated a few people in his life before. just a few exes and chances are, he wasn't even the one that asked but rather the other party. julius has also probably dated both men and women but he isn't sure about those who a non-binary yet if only because he has yet to date one to see if he is also attracted to them or not.i'm also up for someone having a crush on julius but just know chances he won't notice at all unless you tell him. despite the fact that he has a good analytical mind when looking at evidence and solving mysteries, he doesn't really use it to think about how others may view him. i am also totally up for julius having a crush on your character. chances are his type is usually someone that he would find to be morally standing and truly willing to fight for what they believe. although at the same time, he's also not the type to ask his crush out if only because well what if it bothers them? so that could also be fun to play.
the only thing i wanna say though is that i'm not a set in stone person. i like romance plots but nothing that is final right away. i think it would be more fun to just get a potential plot and then see how they work in threads.
