SP. SKILL: [ MAN OF THE MASK ] — PErforming seems to be your new way of life, yeah? From rhyming schemes to magic tricks. In some way shape or form, you have become one with the art of entertainment. And, what better way to amuse the masses than by the art of impressions? Though, this is magic we're talking about. So it goes a step further than simple vocal mimicry. After covering your face with your palms in peek-a-boo fashion, you can shift the entirety of your face into that of another being! Of course, such a skill comes with limitations and clauses. One, to shift your face into another, you must have heard their voice and know their name. And two, the transformation only lasts for a short period of time. But never fear, as you grow stronger, so does your skill ( Transformations start out lasting for 2 posts. Then, per Rank, last 1 post longer. ★ = 2 posts, ★★ = 3 posts, etc.). Also, it's not just their face you can imitate. But, as you may have already guessed, their voice too! Once your transformation has faded, you must wait to perform the skill again (cooldown is +1 the lasting time. so: up 2 down 3, up 3 down 4, etc.)

WEAPONRY

NAME: ALBA VACUO (WHITE VACUUM)[break]

CLASS: D[break]

DESCRIPTION: A signature component of Cassian's inventory, Alba Vacuo is indispensable in many situations. The mystical item is a flawlessly white handkerchief with minor stretching properties, fourteen inches by fourteen inches in size. In each corner is a singular, small symbol seemingly printed in royal blue; a heart, a club, a spade and a diamond. Unable to be stained, any substance seems to simply roll off the magical material as if it were rejecting any type of tarnishing.

Alba Vacuo earns its name from the ability imbued into it; the handkerchief can literally swallow up any and all items or forms of energy (within one rank of power) in an instant, hostile or not. When spread open and placed over an object or energy, it "vacuums" it all up indiscriminately through the center of the handkerchief and deposits it into a separate pocket dimension away from the physical world; aesthetically it appears as making something disappear under a cloth. Larger objects will make the handkerchief puff out more at the closed end before it flattens down just as quickly as it came up. Obviously so, nothing in this dimension can be called back to the physical world without the say so of Cassian. However, to do so would require a hefty amount of concentration and some time to accurately pinpoint and bring out said item.

While Alba Vacuo can be used to negate incoming projectiles or conveniently gobble up stray items, it is not without its flaws. If the said item or energy cannot be contained through the middle of the handkerchief due to the sheer size of said concept, the magical item can only swallow up as much as it can while the rest will continue its trajectory outside the confines of the item dimensions. Suggestively, that also includes elements such as excess fire or electricity which would overwhelm the sizing of the mystical item and end up setting Cassian's hands alight in the process.

This stops Alba Vacuo from swallowing up things like whole people, boulders, raging blazes or anything substantially bigger than the average human skull. However, in the case of longer items such as a sword, the vacuum can still apply; if the blade's tip went through the handkerchief's middle in a horizontal placement, it could be vacuumed into Alba Vacuo like that of a sheath. Vertically though, it would be impossible as long as the sword (or similar object) in question were taller than the handkerchief. If the handkerchief is ever damaged by a force too strong, Cassian can repair it via harnessing magical energy into it over the span of sixty minutes; this cannot be done in combat.

ABILITIES

NAME: CASCADING CARDS[break]

DESCRIPTION: A flurry of up to fourteen playing cards surrounds various areas of Cassian's body like that of an aura, levitating and following his motions a couple of inches away from his physical form. Each card is razor sharp around the edges, capable of slicing and stabbing into human skin, the added magical component to the cards giving it a step up from paper cuts. While general body damage will not kill or severely damage in most cases, the keen edges of the card can cause severe consequences when cut across vital areas susceptible to slashing trauma such as the throat or wrists. Cassian is able to manipulate these cards at will through mental means, usually by rapidly projecting them towards opponents or using them to hinder the attacks of his adversaries. Each card can deflect a spell similar to its own strength while also ripping or disintegrating in the process, although attacks that encompass a large scale can easily overwhelm the card's size and continue onward toward Cassian himself, albeit with some force nullified. While capable of stabbing into skin, they do not cut deep enough to be considered lethal at most areas of the body; the cards are also extremely vulnerable to fire which can spark the cards into ashes quickly. Not surprisingly, strong and immediate gusts of wind can interrupt the trajectory of them too. The cards in question are normally typical playing cards found on his person which are magically enhanced by the spell, although when in dire need he can create them from nothing at the added cost of notable drain.
