Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
In hindsight, she probably shouldn't have started doing something that drew more attention to herself. Not only did the other guy seem intent on having a conversation, he was also now interested in the girl's shadowboxing. This flustered her a bit, causing her to unleash an even faster flurry of jabs before finally slowing down to catch her breath. Not wanting to seem rude, she decided that she ought to just reply.
"I'm an athlete. I jog all over around the city and I sometimes take off the beaten path routes like this one. It was just luck really that I ended up here. There was no real purpose or meaning to it."
She hoped that explanation was enough. As for his other question, it was much harder to respond to.
"I-I'm not really a good teacher at all I think. I'm not even sure where to start. I pick-up things quickly and can demonstrate, but that's about it."
The coaches and trainers made it all look easy. Well, she had the theory and lessons in her head, but communicating it properly to someone else was another matter. She might have managed a bit with someone she knew well, but a total stranger was a little out of the question. She didn't even know if they were a complete novice or already have some skills. She really respected those who had the capacity to teach at being able to handle this sort of thing.
To be honest speaking with a stranger bothered so much more than the rain or cold. She couldn't get a good look at the owner of the voice as she kept her distance and the bad weather meant it was a little on the dark side inside that old structure even if it wasn't nighttime yet. She instinctively pulled her hood down a bit more to hide her face, but her voice wasn't fooling anyone.
"Um, n-no not from around here. Not lost either. J-just took a detour. Please don't mind me."
The girl took a few deep breaths to try and relax. If they could just keep to themselves, that would be the best, but that was probably too much to ask. She did intrude in their building so it was natural they'd notice and approach her. She hoped the rain would pass soon so she could be on her way. In the meantime she decided to distract herself with a little shadow boxing. A bit of workout would help her feel warm too.
She stayed close to the entrance where she came in from. She had no reason to go further inside where the other guy was. This was also so that she could make her way out quickly if anything happened. Throwing a few quick jabs in the air, she was starting to get into the zone. She loved this feeling of focus and concentration, like she was in her own world. Just her and an invisible opponent that only she could see.
Probably no one jogged around the city more than Dita did at least among the kids her age. So when it came to knowing the layout of the town and roads from the perspective of someone on foot, Dita was one of the best people to ask. She did steer clear however of places that were known to be dangerous or attracted trouble or troublemakers, so her knowledge wasn't exactly complete. But every once in a while she would feel a little adventurous and mix-up her jogging routes with short detours to such places a little bit at a time. After all, thanks to her 'other' responsibilities, finding herself in not-so-savory places happened a lot more than she would like. She had to get used to them.
Today's route took her around a section of Louvre. But as bad luck would have it, a heavy downpour happened in the middle of her jog and so she had to find some place to take cover from the rain. She had her usual hoodie and tracksuit on, but while that kept her somewhat dry, it wasn't exactly the warmest thing. She wasn't fond of thick clothes as she often sweat a lot during her workouts so something light and cool was preferable. That turned out to be not the best choice that day. To make matters worse, she was in a rather scary part of town. Most of the buildings around this area were abandoned and who knows what might just pop out. She shivered at the thought.
Unfortunately there weren't really much choices nearby for places to take cover from the rain. A lot of the abandoned buildings were also boarded up. Well, wooden boards couldn't really stop her if she tried, but she was an upstanding citizen and wasn't going to break things for her own convenience. She eventually spotted a building that wasn't boarded up like the others. It honestly didn't look very hospitable but beggars can't be choosers. She immediately headed for it, forgetting to consider that it might not be boarded up because it was actually occupied.
"Ah!"
Almost as soon as she set foot inside, she let out a yelp as a couple of the largest rats she had ever seen in her life suddenly scurried by before her. They didn't really do anything more than that so she calmed down right right away. But afterwards she heard a voice call out from somewhere inside, asking who was there. It was then that she realized she should have figured someone else might be in here. Not wanting to cause them unnecessary alarm or panic, she cautiously ventured closer to where the voice came from, finally spotting another person in a raincoat.
"Oh, um, hello. Just taking cover from the rain."
It was at this point that she noticed the many unusual splotches around the area. But it was none of her business so she didn't pry.
RANK: ★☆☆☆☆ [break] CLASS: Magi [break] [break] SP. SKILL: [ TWO-TON TUNIC ] — Despite your small stature, Io has been "kind" enough to make it so you never fall ever again. Well, it will be pretty hard to knock you over, actually. With your special skill, your body, while it may not look it, weighs around a ton. Now, with the power of magic, you are capable of living your life normally. Without causing craters wherever you roam and breaking furniture. However, if another were to try and lift you, they would quickly find that you are far too heavy for such a feat. The same could be said for you falling onto them. Your body, while impervious to physical damage it may seem, is still susceptible to magical influence. Also... steer clear of water... that's a dead end for you. You'll plummet straight to the bottom. But hey, on the bright side... even though this is a constant and passive special skill... you can turn it off for a maximum of 3 posts afterward, you must waist another 2 before turning it off once more.

[break][break]
NAME: Might[break] CLASS: D[break] DESCRIPTION: To those who can perceive magic, occasional sparks of something akin to black electricity would begin to crackle around Dita, indicating that this ability is active. She temporarily gains the strength to lift a car. The same strength allows her to do things like jump 3 stories high from a standing position and land safely without any injuries. At rank D she can only maintain this for up to a minute, afterwards there is a cool down equal to the same time she spent maintaining this ability. At rank C there is a cool down equal to half the time she spent maintaining this ability. At rank B she can maintain this indefinitely.[break]

NAME: Adamantine[break] CLASS: D[break] DESCRIPTION: To those who can perceive magic, a light purple aura surrounds Dita, indicating that this ability is active. Her body temporarily gains increased durability, enough to withstand 1 C-Class ability or 2 D-Class abilities before dissipating. When this ability is dispelled as a result of taking enough damage to cause it to dissipate, there is a minute cool down before she can reactivate it again.[break]
A youth who found her calling in the world of sports, Dita Fluegel immersed herself and excelled in almost every exercise she tried. From track to gymnastics to various martial arts, she proved herself capable of being among the best of her peers when at her peak condition. She was born with a body that was faster, stronger, and more enduring than most, but unfortunately her mental fortitude was a bit more volatile. Thankfully her motivations were simple enough. The girl enjoyed competition and challenging training regimens kept her mind from being disturbed by unnecessary thoughts. When all else failed, her love for food would get her through almost any obstacle, with the drawback that it was also sometimes a double-edged sword that distracted her from more important things. It was something that her coaches over the years had learned to work around with. At some point, her coaches decided to focus her efforts on an event where she could display the full extent of her capabilities. And so she began training to become a decathlete with the goal of earning the gold in the Olympics one day. [break][break] Despite her more focused training programs, she still continued to participate in other competitions where she did surprisingly well thanks to her natural talents. But tragedy would strike in a certain gymnastics event that she entered when she was thirteen. She would get into an unfortunate accident involving faulty equipment that resulted into a nasty fall, sending her to the hospital for several weeks. It was a terrible time for her and many people thought that she might have suffered lasting injuries that would end her promising career. In the end while she managed to make a full physical recovery in a few months and was even cleared to return to doing her training regimens, what took the greatest hit from this incident was her more fragile mental state. [break][break] She had developed a case of basophobia as a result of her trauma that basically crippled her whenever it was triggered. When she was running, unless her mind was really clear and focused, she would always fret about tripping and falling down. Even when she was engaging in some of the martial arts that she was fond of, she would find herself paralyzed whenever she was going to be thrown or knocked down, unable to mount a proper response like she used to. And of course this meant that gymnastics and jumping events that she loved in track were a no go as she would begin sweating buckets from the starting block if she tried to attempt them. Gravity used to be her ally but now it bound and shackled her wings. Her World's Greatest Athlete dream was suddenly much further away if not impossible. [break][break] As she contemplated her future, she was approached by a certain mysterious being offering a wish in exchange for her cooperation. According to them, if she wanted to, she could rid herself of all of her mental weaknesses and become an even stronger person than before her accident. But she never hated the kind of person that she was, flawed as she might have been. Even like that, she was able to enjoy the things she loved and she didn't yearn for anything more. However her newfound phobia of falling deprived her of those things. She wanted to once again be able to reach and stand at great heights literally and figuratively without fear, and so that was the only thing she wanted to change. [break][break] "I wish for things to go back to the way they were when I never feared falling down, and was always ready to bounce back up when I did, to reach even higher. I don't really want anything else." [break][break] It was hoping against hope and she didn't truly believe in it at first. But the result was nothing short of a miracle. She was freed from her fear almost on the spot and was suddenly able to do the things she couldn't do without being hindered. It really felt like she had gone back to those precious days. Her dreams were finally within reach again. At the same time, it sunk in that everything that mysterious being told her was actually true. There were forces in this world that threatened her peaceful life and that of others. And so if there was anything she could do to help on that front, she was willing to... as long as they weren't too scary. She wondered in hindsight if she should have also wished for that particular fear to go away.
