Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
Scrolling through socials was always tiresome for someone like Jae, he felt as if it was a chore to reply to peoples messages, like comments etc. It just seemed so fake, but perhaps this feeling was amplified when he kept receiving messages of people bailing on today's trip to Dreamland. The reason? It was bad timing and while he understood he was annoyed some of the people he thought were really good friends to him couldn't take time out of their day to see him. His face was met by a snowflake as he looked up because he heard but a delicate voice call out his name. He shook it off as he greeted the girl with a smile.[break][break]
She smelt divine, as he walked over to meet her the smell vanilla fragrance wafted and clung to his nostrils as he looked her down and up, slyly of cause he didn't want the girl to know he was checking her out as clear as it actually was. But Yvette had changed quite a lot, she looked more mature but still gave off the vibe of a playful girl. “Hey! It's been awhile.”[break][break]
He leaned in to give the girl a quick hug, he wasn't a whole lot taller than her because of the heels she wore so it wasn't awkward to wrap his arms around her shoulders. Letting go Jae had to address the over larger issue that plagued him before answering any of the other questions. He was worried though she was expecting some grand party and would bail so he mustered up any amount of charm he had threw it into this one line, hoping it would save the day. “The good news is that, we get to hang out today...The bad....Everyone else had to bail. But that does mean you have me all to yourself~”[break][break]
He laughed to shake it off as he flashed her another smile, his delicate face bright as if it were the sun as felt another snowflake hit him. “China was good, an experience for sure. How have you been though? High school right?” Referring to the time the two last saw each other person when Jae was a year younger then her, but both seemingly had matured to fine people and he could feel some sort of small spark between the two already.[break][break]
“So now school is over, what are you doing for work?” The pair started to walk to their first destination in a random direction, it just so happened to be they would walk towards one of the many roller coasters Dreamland had. This wasn't the biggest or the fastest but the loops and drops would surely give them a thrill. They got into line, it wasn't the biggest of waits however the two could still talk and catch up for a bit which was good.[break][break]
Trying to remember what it was like back in high school he could remember Yvette was quite popular among both males and females. Winter seemingly came early also as there wasn't just a few drops of snow now but an endless supply as it picked up now, however it wasn't enough to stop the fun from happening and as they were let on into one of the carts, Jae always played the gentleman and helped her get in/out. This reunion in some senses felt more of a date, although that never was his intention. The main reason for this was because they were alone, just the two of them instead of a group of high school mates so for Jae anyway it did feel more personal.[break][break]
He cheered in excitement as they took the ride, kids screaming in terror or joy filled the airs as he lifted his arms up like a true child as they went up and around the loop and down the large drop just before the ride ended. His normal clam face showing a massive grin and all the fun he was already having and just like any good roller coaster a picture was taken and Jae planned to get two copies of it so they could remember the day they finally got to hang out.[break][break]
“How's Roselia going? I've been keeping track somewhat, your songs are good!” He spoke the truth they were indeed good and had a lot of potential or so he thought anyway, Jae always wanted to be able to sing or rather rap as that was his favorite genre of music but he wasn't gifted like that instead fate choose him to kill the monsters that plagued the world using the powers of the Jade Emperor. His brown orbs had flecks of gold throughout the hues as he focused on Yvette as they spoke, his cheeks slightly red from the ride they just went on and also the fact that he thought the girl was incredibly attractive. “Hey so, what ride do you want to go on next?”
It had been less then three days since Jae was back in New Paris, France. His parents were excited to see their child all grown up and upon seeing them many of tears, kisses and hugs were exchanged. Jae was a mothers boy so it really gave joy to him to see his mother smile like the way. He did miss his parents after all these years but after two days of constant love and affection he needed a break and as a teenager the best way for Jae to relax and have fun was to hang out with his friends at the wonderful and grand amusement park known as Dreamland. So that's what Jae was organizing, posting on social media he was back in town and if anyone from his high school days wanted to hang out for the day and let their hair figuratively of cause at Dreamland![break][break]
The amusement park was always busy and today was no different, kids who skipped school and families on vacation littered the theme park as Jae paid his admission fee and walked through the large gates. The sound of kids screaming and laughing filled the air as roller coasters shot up into the sky and dodgem cars rammed into each other. A small smile painted his face as nostalgia of his youth came rushing back. The golden brown hairs on top of his charming face absorbed the sunlight and seemingly appeared to glow with golden hues, he wore jeans and a black hoodie. His clothing attire was simple but Jae-Sung always managed to look rather handsome in his wear.[break][break]
Posting on social media again for people to meet him at the giant water fountain at the center of Dream land he waited. He used this time to make contact with the other soul he carried; the Jade Emperor was fine and mediating as per normal. He rarely spoke out to Jae while he was doing every day activities and you could define the twos relationship to be close and respected. So just like the other soul that resided in his body, Jae also briefly closed his eyes. The smell of hot food wafted through the air, cinnamon donuts being freshly baked was one of the most appealing to his senses and Jae knew that was going to be one of the first thing he hates, the downfall to living in rural China for so long was that he hate the same types of food and after a month or two he defiantly wished he could of tasted something else. Yet that experience made him savor the taste of the delicious foods he enjoyed even more.[break][break]
His phone went off as he got a message from someone he didn't expect at all, an old friend or rather acquainted schoolmate of his had contacted him saying she was coming. It was a surprise, the two never actively spoke or hung out but Jae was glad someone had gotten back to him about hanging out today. He wouldn't want to be left in Dreamland alone, not to say that being alone in a place designed to bring cheers and joy was a bad thing but he much rather the company of others. So he replied saying he will see her soon, wondering if she had heard anything about Kerria since he hadn't been able to get back in contact with her ever since he left. Needles to say he didn't have feelings for her as he once did but he hoped his friend was doing ok, just like he hoped Yvette Yamamoto was doing fine also.

NAME: Purifying Light[break] CLASS: D[break] DESCRIPTION: Being able to harness the very magical essence the Jade Emperor had, Jae-Sung is able to condense the holy light the Emperor radiated into small balls pure energy. These balls require an immense amount of concentration to hold and are able to be fired like shotgun pellets. Upon making contact with the ball of white light, the projectile shatters into dozens of tiny crystal like pieces to be embedded within the object it collides with. These shards of light are so bright and holy they produce an extreme amount of heat and will start to burn through the object like acid. While Jae-sung concentrates and focus the power of the holy light he cannot move until he releases the projectile and currently can only make one at a time.[break]

NAME: Holy Nova[break] CLASS: D[break] DESCRIPTION: The ability to manipulate the same balls of energy he creates for his purifying light attack. Holy Nova is a derived ability he discovered when he found out with enough concentration he can move the balls of his own free will instead of just firing them like a cannon. He also learnt he was able to compress the magical energy within the orbs so much that it would crack and detonate like a bomb, releasing waves of holy fire to hit his enemies in a radius of 3 feet. He currently can only control one orb at a time and compressing the orb takes a whole post to 'charge' long enough to be ready to detonate. While compressing the orb of light he cannot use any other ability. [break]
Known in Chinese culture, traditional religions and myth the Jade Emperor is a legendary immortal who was but the crown prince hailing from, the kingdom of Pure Felicity and Majestic Heavenly Lights and Ornaments. Known in legend upon birth, the crown prince radiated a blinding, wondrous light that filled the entire kingdom. During his lifetime the prince was known for his kindness, intelligence, and wisdom. [break][break] The Prince devoted his youth to helping those less fortunate than himself (the poor and suffering, the deserted and single, the hungry and disabled) and when his father died ascended the throne and made sure everyone in his kingdom found peace and containment. Sometime afterwards the newly appointed king told his ministers that he would go and cultivate Tao (for all intensive purposes, think of Tao as magic energy) on the very source of magical essence, the Bright and Fragrant Cliff in one if its many chasms. [break][break] During this time of meditation, the King was given 3,200 trials (each trial lasted 3,000,000 years). These trials were various tests of compassion, strength, knowledge, and wisdom and while the King completed each and every one a new evil plagued his kingdom and the very world itself. A great and powerful entity had ambition to conquer all existence and claim sovereign over it. The reason why this entity was so powerful is because he also mediated and harnessed his power, however, the entity only took 3,000 trials as his pride made it believe that it was unbeatable. [break][break] During this reign of terror, the King emerged from his sacred place and eventually found the evil that plagued the world and enslaved all life. A great battle erupted, the heavens split, the ground crumbled and many of the worlds natural beauty was destroyed...Yet the King with his power that he gained from his meditation subdued the monster and restored balance to not only the world but the universe itself. Those that survived the great encounter claimed the King to be the new sovereign over all and was given the title of the Jade Emperor.

Jae's Story
Jae-Sung Chavanne born to a loving couple was always considered a bright and intelligent child who showed great kindness and respect to others. Conceived in Seoul, South Korea Jae-Sung's father was a French military officer who fell in love with a Korean nurse. Still to this day his father says it was love at first sight and made every effort possible to learn Korean and its culture and eventually won the fair maiden over and upon the couples wedding eve did they make a child together.[break][break]
Growing up Jae-Sung was taught not only Korean and French but English as well, this was because the family every few years would move from country to country. His childhood consisted predominantly of home schooling from his mother as his fathers military job kept him rather active on the field. Jae-Sung's parents always said as a child he glowed or rather radiated like a light bulb, their child was full of joy and whenever he made contact with other children had nothing but positive experiences for the most part.[break][break]
As he developed Jae continued to be a warm and caring person, however, a quick temper for those who picked on others was found. This was discovered when he started attending public school and started to socialize with more then one other child at a time. He wasn't a troubled child or a problem student, he just couldn't stand when the strong bullied the weak for whatever selfish reason they could think of. It made his blood boil and outbursts of anger would often happen to those that did wrong to him or his friends which gave Jae-Sung a reputation, not the good type of reputation either.[break][break]
His early teens were a nightmare, he got worse and while his grades and results were all but positive Jae's parents didn't know what to do. Conflicted because he would defend the weak but get into trouble for fighting at school his father and mother decided to move to New Paris where a job opportunity arose for them both. Thinking a change of scenery was what their only son needed, they left the country and the Korean lifestyle behind. Thankfully the French and English lessons were taught at a young age and Jae-Sung could fit right in.[break][break]
He spent his teenage years in New Paris and while his outbursts of anger settled down, Jae was given a new obstacle in life, one which he could never share with anyone either for the majority of people would think he was crazy. Jae-Sung was always someone who enjoyed the works of fantasy and mythology so when he started having vivid dreams of a great and powerful being who referred to himself as the Jade Emperor he honestly thought all the reading and imagination had started to make him see things...Eventually he heard them as well, it was as if the teenager was losing his mind and going crazy. It was hard to comprehend but eventually the teenager had confirmation he wasn't actually crazy but gifted in the literal sense that he had magical powers. Jae still to this day can't pinpoint the exact time his powers manifested but he remembers the Jade Emperor helping the teenage boy control his anger and become more calming and mellow. He never told anyone this, not even the one friend who he developed incredibly strong feelings for at one time. Her name? Kerria Yukino. [break][break]
The world was very different now Jae had accepted he wasn't crazy but rather gifted with powers and that's why on advice from the great and powerful soul that resided in him, Jae-sung transferred to a school in China. This was an odd request, however his parents supported his desire for wanderlust and sent him to live with a close family friend in a very humble and rural spot in China. Sadly Jae never confessed his love for Kerria, he thought couldn't...Not because he didn't think she'd accept the feelings but because she could not stop him leaving the country and that wouldn't be fair on her, a parting gift was given. A unique bracelet he made, saying if she wore it he would eventually find her again.[break][break]
During this time in China, Jae-Sung started to learn mandarin and picked it up quite easily with help from the Jade Emperor. The spirit's knowledge and wisdom guided the teenager and they started their own mediation. Just like the mythology, Jae started to learn to control his power due to mediation. The Jade Emperor was but a guide, a teacher and a friend. The two shared a mutual respect for one another that deepened the bond between the two souls. One question could never be answered until the very end of his stay in China, what was his powers for?[break][break]
That's when Jae-Sung saw the evil for the first time, he wasn't scared or terrified but finally understood what he would have to do. Vanquishing the evil that started to plague the world just like the Jade Emperor did was but his mission and just like when Jae was a child he would not let the malefic nature of these creatures destroy those who couldn't defend himself. He could sense an impending battle and knew he would have to travel back to New Paris soon.[break][break]
