Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
Kaiden was born Niklaus Iglehart to a small family in the German countryside. The name 'Kaiden' is a pseudonym that he has used since running away from home at age 16.
The circumstance of his departure from his family and former life isn't due to anything traumatic in his childhood. Kaiden grew up living a rather normal life. He was actual with the love of his life & on track to be top of his class when he left home.
His contract and the being that approached him offering him was the reason for Kaiden's departure. His significant other was being hassled by thugs and Kaiden needed the strength to save her. When it was done rather than put his family and those close to him in danger he ran.
That was three years ago, and so much has happened to Kaiden since then. The least of which is that he has become a con artist in order to get by in his day to day life.
He arrived in New Paris a few days ago at the request of his Contractor.

One, you are only capable of transferring one emotion. If it's sadness you feel, and wish to get rid of it, you may do so. Anger? Go for it. But, it can only be one. Two, these effects are not permanent. Emotions can be worked through. And as such, so can those transferred and absorbed. However, that doesn't make them any less real. Three, you can only transfer and absorb current emotion. If your target is infuriated, but you wish to sap them of sadness, you'll only end up absorbing their rage. And finally, Love and Hate cannot be transferred. If you attempt to transfer or absorb either, you will feel a sudden sensory overload, leaving you paralyzed with despair for a total of 2 posts. So, do be careful!

It has clearly been touched by eldritch magic. Seen by the tentacle-like vines that wrap around the hilt of the blade. While a large majority of it's magical properties have been sealed away. Kaiden is capable of sending the tentacles around the blade outward to ensnare enemies by grabbing hold of them. These tentacles are not impervious to harm, however, and can be cut severing their hold.[break]

In addition to the energy being of a dark sickly green color. It also as the unique effect of starting out smaller in size upon being launched. The moment before impact (or at a moment of Kaiden's choice) the sphere energy will expand becoming larger in size.[break][break]
