Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
"woah there, hot stuff!" hitomi exclaimed as the male tried to run off and help others. standing up to te grab the individual by his arm, she'd tug upon the cloth of his clothing. "you can't--oh, god, you speak french--right, uh..." in her attempt of struggle to hold the male back and calm the individual down. her mind was unable to conjure the a proper french sentence, "this is the worst! look, you're a total hottie and all, but i don't think i can live with myself if i left you here to play hero in your condition, idiot!" words weren't getting to the blonde, so, she would shout one word she knew without hesitation, "arrête! arrête!" hitomi yelped tugging on the male.
[break][break]
"seriously, y--" due to having not wanting her help. ten skeletal soldiers gathered down the street; great job, what was this guy going to do in his condition? it was up to her to protect him! "dammit, if you're so hellbent on being a stubborn man--which is in no way attractive--just..." she'd pick up the trashcan lid once more, using it as a shield--wooden sword in hand, "...stay behind me dammit--not like you understand half of what i just said!" she exclaimed taking the frontal position. "seriously, leaving you here to die? that's totally not an option--or rather something is telling me i'm not allowed to, even though i totally have no idea who you are and you barely understand what i'm saying..." her hairpins started to emit a strange, orange shimmer. "gosh, you're really unmanly--you have a cute face, but to make a lady do all the work? so unmanly." as she made haste to stand in front of LUCAS BELLEROSE , who, though weak, had the want to save those in need. she couldn't understand his strong passion--his desire, but it was revving her up to fight the creatures targeting them. "after tonight's over with, you're totally paying me back for playing your nurse; and, also..."
[break][break]
[ fight post commencement ]puckered lips and a pout-like expression made the greenette say the next, "i hate men who can't rely on people, frenchy (LUCAS BELLEROSE ), so would you just do me a favor and silence--that's the only word i remember in french that means to 'be quiet', but i'm not just some weak woman! i can fight too, rely on the beautiful heroine that saved you, french boy!" and with that she took charge ahead. wooden sword in hand and trashcan lid raised; she would slice at the first two horizontally, swiping them out of her way. the next would receive a kick in the stomach, his body dissipating as he fell to the ground. the fourth would try to surprise attack her with a sword to the back, but she would turn to dodge said sword, pushed the skeleton's arm upward, and sliced vertically downward. and, lastly, one more would attempt to attack her head on--but as hitomi charged forward, she would use the lid to bum rush the skeletal being to the ground. in doing so, right after, she'd step upon its head. crushing the skeletal demon into nothingness.
[break][break]
"and that's 5--time to deal with the other five," she annoyingly stated as they gathered around her. "seriously, i hope YVETTE YAMAMOTO 's okay..." hitomi stated, biting down upon her lip.
[break][break]
tl;dr: hitomi tried holding LUCAS BELLEROSE back, but then 10 skeletons showed up. hitomi's hairpins began to glow as she started to address how LUCAS BELLEROSE is unmanly, but he has heart and cares for others even in that state. telling him she hates men who can't rely on others, so she asked if he could rely on her--even if he's unable to understand her; though, she spoke a small (not a lot) of french words she could remember on the spot. so, picking up her wooden sword and trashcan lid shield, she took out 5 and is now surrounded by 5 more.

current total: 27 skeletons have been defeated by the young group of heroes, woo!
[attr="class","stylishtext"] A hand quickly moved to pace itself against the top of Émilie Cadence's head. Applying consoling rubs to the purple haired girl's dome. "It's okay, It's going to be fine Emi. We'll get out of here." Somehow. She just hadn't thought of a plan yet. And, that wasn't like her. To not have the next three steps figured out ahead of time. This wasn't like Yvette at all. And to make matters ten times worse. Emi was in danger. Eyes narrowed as the strange male, (julius vesper), came to their side. It seemed he and Emi knew each other. Was she aware of his magical prowess? Hues darted to a cowering Emi for reassurance. She'd guess not. No matter. It wasn't his job to protect her. This was her friend. And these skeleton's had a snowball's chance in hell of laying an undead finger on her... undead... hm, she wondered if that girl was anywhere in this mess. Hitomi Jabami. Hopefully, she stayed away from the chaos. [break][break] "Stop talking like that!" Voice seasoned with a stern disbelief. "You're not useless. I don't want to hear you ever say that again." Teeth grit against each other, she detested seeing her friends this way. Even if Emi had no means of doing battle with these creatures, that didn't make her as helpless as she thought herself to be. She could've taken hold of the bat. But, that guy had it now. So that was out of the question. What was she to do no—"Hunt." That voice again. It was much louder than before. "Protect. Hunt." Right. That's what she'd do now. With one last tight embrace to Emi, Yvette stood up and took a few steps towards the male. "Take Emi and get out of here." Head craned over to him as she spoke. "Protect her with your life... if anything happens to her, I swear, I'll hunt you down and drag you back here by your front teeth." [break][break] Head snapped towards the oncoming skeletons. The silver fog beginning to roll in around the three. Leaving an opening for the two behind her to flee from danger. In turn, shrouding Yvette until she became only that of a black blur. "Go!" And with that, she darted off towards the skeletons. Arm extended, and silver light encircling her index finger. "Aim an—""I got it, I got it." With the 5 skeleton creatures in sight, two crescent moons collided against the tip of her index finger and from them, Yvette fired off a charged beam of energy. Disintegrating the 5 skeletons.***** [break][break] She craned her head back, making sure none of the creatures were tailing Emi and the man. So far so good. But, instead of returning tot heir side, Yves kept running forward, keeping a flume of the fog surrounding her as she maneuvered through an alleyway, Peeking her head out from the crevice to see a familiar green-haired girl. Surrounded. "You've gotta be kidding me..." Hitomi was here. And in danger too? Sheesh. [break][break] Ducking back into the alleyway and the fog that resided within, Yvette extended her hand outward and a magic circle of silver appeared at her feet. Soon after, chains would rise up from the glyph and zip through the air, ripping through the wind until they reached Hitomi Jabami and coiled about her petite frame and waist. And, with a simple flick, would send her heavenward. Keeping hold to the girl, the chain would drop her upon the outside of the group of skeletons. Giving her a chance to attack them with the rudimentary weaponry she carried before vanishing into thin air. [break][break] "You're welcome."
[attr="class","notes"]tldr — yves exterminates 5 skeletons making 32 skeletons ded in total. creates a fog that shrouds her but allows emi and julius to flee. hides within the fog in an alley and uses her chains to flip hitomi out of the group of skellies. ur welcome gurl.
Lucas looked again to the danger ahead. He was suddenly more aware of the screams around him, the shouts, the insanity--there were some sounds of battle, unfamiliar yet clear; sounds of rushing and desperation; everything rumbled in the back of his mind...but in the forefront was that compulsion, directing him like a magnetic pull toward where he knew there to be both danger and damage. There was crying. He could hear the crying, though not through his ears. It was like a strange echo bouncing around ethereal walls.
He pivoted and began to step away--but was stopped. He looked quickly to the woman he had completely forgotten was even with him, his priorities having been reset. He stared at her as she spoke. He didn't fight against her, he didn't tear himself from her grip...he just listened. But he couldn't understand her. He had just spoken to her in French, and this language was her response, indicating that she probably hadn't understood him, either. He looked back over his shoulder and around. Standing here was dangerous. And he was needed--
"Je ne te comprends pas," he said, looking a her with confusion and shaking his head. He even tried gesturing around his ears. Whatever she was saying, surely it wasn't more important than what he was here to do. Ah...stop, she was saying. Why? Stop why?
The rattling sound of bones drew his attention again and Lucas spun to look at the ten skeletons nearby. He tensed. His emotions tore--he wasn't frightened, he wouldn't run away, but what good could he do if he took too much unnecessary damage?
Hitomi Jabami kept talking. He heard her gibberish, glancing at her briefly, both frustrated and startled by how she insisted on speaking. He looked away from her again.
"Je n'ai pas peur," he said quietly. He pressed both of his hands to the side of his head, feeling the urge to move now in multiple directions. There was more pain. There was more injury. So many civilians, so many sudden drops in the sensation...how many were dying? He had to save them before it came to that.
And then, before he knew it, she had run off. He opened his eyes to watch her disappearing ahead of him into the crowd of danger. His knew that it was a terrible idea, but also knew her to be armed. She didn't need him. Besides, there was something about her that instilled in him a bit more confidence regarding her survival. If she needed him, however, he would be back.
Lucas frowned and turned away, rushing in the direction that called for him the most. He swallowed back the pain in his ribs at his quick movements. He was focused, but wasn't paying attention. It was divine luck that kept him from being cut down as he moved. He did gasp out loudly at the nearby sound of RAKUTSU HAYASA 's gunshots, but they only slowed him down for a moment. He had found his first injured civilian, her cries going ignored as she lay on the ground, bleeding from a slash wound on the leg. He dropped to her side and began trying to speak words of comfort, though he knew there was only one thing that could give her any at all.
Without hesitation, without looking around or preparing himself, Lucas covered her open wound with both of his hands. It wouldn't take him too long. Details unknown to him, regular civilians had no magical resistance. His vision began to blur and he struggled against the feeling of fear and desperation the woman was giving to him. Dizziness. Weakness. It was difficult to keep a grip, but after a short moment, everything was reset. The open wound was gone, the blood on Lucas' hands the only evidence that it had been there at all. For now.
He helped the woman to her feet and encouraged her to find any form of shelter, and she ran off without thanks or questions. Lucas gave it no thought. Instead he felt another pull and he turned, contemplating his next actions as two skeletons stood between himself and where he was meant to go. Should he grab a weapon? Should he put faith in luck and the unknown?
tldr:Hitomi Jabami turned her back, so he ran off ofc. wound up close enough to RAKUTSU HAYASA to hear the gunshots. healed a random civvie because that's why he's here. is being cornered by 2 skeletons. spoiler alert, will soon develop the same open leg wound he just healed. will need a piggyback ride later.

Halloween was one of those holidays that Autumn never lost interest in; where that interest was placed simply shifted throughout the years. As a kid it was just fun to run around and get as much candy as possible, laughing with your friends about who had the silliest costume and getting scared by the spooky decorations. It was a lot more carefree then, if she had to be honest. While her focus now was still on having fun the candy she now received was store bought by herself and the costumes she wore were now focused on how to be as cute as possible without being a slut. Sure, she switched from big bulky full body suits to high heels, thigh high stockings, a short skirt, a ripped shirt and makeup... but she wasn't about to go parading around half naked in the cold like a lot of the other female college freshmen seemed to think was a good idea. Revealing enough to be cute and sexy, not revealing enough to be slutty; or at least that was the goal, which she believed she managed to reach quite nicely. She even made the entire costume herself this year, ending up looking like what she considered to be an exceptionally attractive zombie.[break][break] While she was no longer going around Trick-or-Treating like the children, Autumn was still wandering around the streets of Palais-Bourbon around the same time as them all. However unlike many of the younger children who had their night ending, Autumn's night was just starting. After all, tonight was the first big themed party night of her entire university career! A few people from her classes had invited her out to a Halloween party and since she was trying to actually live the college experience (despite still living at home with her parents this year) she decided to go. As long as she didn't get too out of control- which she wanted to avoid anyway- she would be fine, right? Right![break][break] Or so she thought, anyway... considering it seemed like the night had something else in store for her. As the skeletal army started to rise Autumn's first reaction would have been to blink a few times, thinking she may have fallen asleep before going out and that she was dreaming. However when she couldn't just will the skeletons away or wake herself up like she normally could she would just blink a few more times. It took about thirty seconds after that for it to fully sink in that getting too drunk or being late to the party were the least of her problems now but when it finally did... well, one more person would be added to the crowd of people running around aimlessly and screaming. While at the moment she was at the edge of the scene, away from most of the other individuals who had already begun to deal with the issue, unfortunately in her panic Autumn would end up attracting three of the skeletons and start leading them towards the others. TAGS:ADMIN[break] TLDR: Autumn is running in high heels down the streets with three skeletons chasing her, heading from the outskirts of this little escapade towards the center of the skeletal army. If anyone wants to get her involved in their scene feel free (just make sure to tag me), otherwise I will be randomly choosing who she led them to in my next post.
Well...it seems Julius has been able to protect Emile and she was now standing up so far so that meant that was good. It was just unfortunate that he was not as battle-ready as he would like to be and had gotten injured in the process. Even if he managed to strike the skeleton down, continuing to protect her was going to be harder now. Instinctively the prosecutor held onto his right shoulder. It was going to make moving his arm hard and it just had to be his dominant hand too. His body was sturdier than it used to be and able to do feats it couldn't before. Hell, he would even say he was able to recover faster than before but that didn't mean the healing was instantaneous. It would take days to probably recover from this and he didn't exactly have the luxury right now.[break][break]
Fortunately, though, Emile was a medical student...who had just ripped a portion of her skirt for him. The male honestly felt rather guilty for that as the skirt was now slightly ruined. Twice he has bothered her and she has had to help him. Almost like a child, Julius held his arm out not bothering to argue with her because it was already done. Plus, the longer they stand here, the more likely in danger they will be. [break][break]
Grey eyes blinked for a moment before dully looking at the girl in front of him, "for what?' In truth, he wasn't sure what there was for her to be sorry about. It wasn't like Emile had done anything to cause this. As far as he knew, she wasn't the one that summoned the skeletons nor was she the one that pushed him in front of them. It had all been Julius's choice and inexperience that had gotten him. Not that he would have made a different choice should he be given another chance...at least not one that would risk another person.[break][break]
Speaking of which, the magi asked if his companion was okay. Unlike him, her body wasn't exactly magically enhanced. There was also the state of her mind. Julius slowly looked at the makeshift bandage Emile had fashioned out of her skirt.[break][break]
'I'm useless' this same woman had declared earlier.[break][break]
"You're....really not useless..." Was it late? Would it make sense? But he wanted Emile to understand that. Then again, Yvette had already told her that and Yvette was her friend. Maybe, he had merely wasted time for the two in saying that. But Emile truly was not useless. She was much more medically knowledgeable than he was or ever will be. And while Julius can attack the skeletons, he couldn't really do anything if another person was injured. Emile, on the other hand, could. So in conclusion, the girl really was not useless at all. [break][break]
The sudden screamed caused Julius to jump before looking around expecting the holder of the name to be around. She wasn't. So then...oh. "Wait-" he tried to call the girl reaching out only for her to point a sword at Julius? No..behind him. Shit. Gray eyes narrowed before he grabbed onto the fallen bat and readied himself. However what was behind them were thankfully not skeletons. It was a man with blue hair and red eyes along with...wait was that the magician at the carnival? What was he- was there a carnival today? Were those people alright? Shit...shit shit.[break][break]
At the mention of someone being the magician's lover, Julius turned to blankly look at Emile. He had only met the magician once and had mainly remembered him due to his rather strange appearance. So clearly it couldn't be him. Emile was also the one that knew more about Yvette who this man with a lance also seems to know. It was just unfortunate that the question also brought worry back into the purple haired girl who asked if Julius would be alright staying with the two newcomers.[break][break]
"I know," Julius grumbled out, gray eyes cast down. He...knew he was injured but it wasn't like the skeletons were going to wait. There were still people in danger out there. Have the police even come yet? [break][break]
"Wait..." he had seen Yvette used magic. She was better equipped then Emile and even with a weapon, he didn't feel that the medical student would be safe. However, it wasn't like he could really offer to come with her. If anything, he might even be a burden. Gray eyes looked over at the two, "maybe-" before he continues with the suggestion that one of the two newcomers, go with her, Yvette found them. He merely watched the scene play out as the girl checked on her friend before thanking Julius. He merely gave a small nod. Well, at least Emile won't have a reason to run off now. The prosecutor caught the raven haired girl glancing at him and he tilted his head unsure of what she wanted. Her friend was safe and..."this man was looking for you as well..." he used the bat to gesture to the man with the lance.[break][break]
Then slowly he turned his attention back over to the magician...whose name he had either forgotten or never really knew. That was when he saw four skeletons coming up from behind the magician. "Skeletons!" he shouted alerting everyone. Moving around the magician, he managed to strike down one of them with the bat using both of his hands. Unfortunately though, it did leave the prosecutor opened to the other three.
tldr: vy was an idiot that accidentally pressed edit instead of quote. so julius split up from yvette with emile. got ambushed by a skeleton and pushed her out of the way. ends up getting stabbed in his right shoulder before killing the skeleton with his bat.[break] julius:4[break]
Two skeletons RIGHT THERE! He saw as turned a street near new set of artwork and really fancy building structure, very highly familiar place, really not mattering. He swung towards one skeleton successfully catching it off guard in the chest, the other turning making a swing toward him, he forced to put up a shield, leaving side just temporarily open. With gathering spit inside his mouth, he spat right at the skeleton's face who had attacked him, only causing the skeleton to be slightly confused and probably thinking he was playing dirty. Oh well. The momentary distraction was good enough for him to break the double dagger criss-cross shield and allowing him a swing at the legs murdering the little undead bastard.
Picked up both grief gems, pocketing them, when there rather loud screams.. Great civilians under attack, hero of the day, whoppie! He thought sarcastically, and deep down rather happy to be able to help somebody with the cursed powers. As he ran coming up to a female ( AUTUMN INARIUS ) with rather cute long hair... Rather female ran right toward him, probably too busy worried about the skeletons to even see him.
He had time to strategize dropping the daggers, run right up to the middle skeleton, catching the knife mid swing only to decay the damn thing. Oxidization, very handy, slightly smelly. This followed by a small twirl to touch 2 skeletons, both completely fading away. Again reminding him just how low leveled these things were.
This of course leaving the last one... The one he was too busy showing off to notice, make a swing hitting right in the shoulder. "Fucking, Hurts!" He whined like a baby pulling away toward the female and way he came... Only to manage painfully grab one of the daggers on the ground. Facing the enemy slightly off balanced, slightly super omega happy for his new abnormal strong body... summary -- ---------> He charged two skeletons, heading toward random outskirt direction ---------> Killed one by blade to chest, the other by spit distraction + dagger "in the knee" ---------> Came to an area with screaming, and 3 skeletons. ---------> Dropped both daggers, going in for a quick direct attack, getting cocky. ---------> Managed to kill two skeletons by his touch, along with 1 weapon. ---------> Managed to get himself hurt in the left back-shoulder by the last one, had to back up on defense. ---------> Sloppily picked up one dagger with right hand.
Calm steps taken forward, one after another, heavily reinforced the composed demeanor of the magician as the photographer made an effort to catch up from behind. Taking a slight glance over his shoulder to ensure that it truly was the man from a few moments ago who was approaching his back, Cassian's golden stare fixated upon him for a singular moment, then past him to see the stumbling group of four skeletons limping and creeping up in their direction in the far distance. They were rather far for the moment, yet still in view, and should the blue-haired duo stop in their tracks then the bony band would no doubt catch up with them in the following few minutes or less. [break][break]
As his new, temporary companion began to speak, possibly a way for him to release his anxiety and shock at the intense supernatural situation they had found themselves in, Cassian remained gazing forwards as he walked at steady pace, arms behind his lower back with a solid jugglingg ball in one hand, a single playing card in the other. A neutral expression remained upon his painted face, the star and tear just as pristine as when he first applied them upon his cheeks, a white handkerchief hanging from the middle of his outfit along the side, which he had yet needed to use.[break][break]
Then came the man's inquiry - the tower? Yes, it did seem like an odd choice for someone trying to escape this whole mess. However, Cassian had no intention of running away from this situation. Quite the opposite. He saw someone he thought he recognized for one - and two? Well, not many scenes of unveiled magic took place like this - not on this demonic scale - and Cassian was oh so curious as to why. What did this moment in Palais-Bourbon mean for the rest of the city? Was there more to come? Would it be soon? Later? Many did their best to hide the presence of magic in this city...although this undead uprising was certainly not subtle.[break][break]
"I think I may have spotted someone I once met." Cassian informed, eyes remaining forward. "Albeit, it may be an unlikely bet." He admitted afterward with a tone of thought; he had only caught a glimpse and it wasn't the greatest angle, although he could see the back of someone in the distance who seemed similar. They happened to be with a girl near an alleyway of some kind. "Regardless, I wish to see this horror to its final part." The magician added before the cameraman could give his thoughts, turning his head slightly to look at the man. "Feel free to exit at the safest convenience; it is not for the faint of heart." [break][break]
And within the next few moments, they had began to enter the vicinity of the violet-haired lady and the partially injured male. Stopping several meters away from them, Cassian stood with his hands behind his back, patiently waiting for the two to notice his and his companion's presence. From the back, this man most certainly did resemble the one who so strongly believed magic to be nothing more than fantasy when they had met quite the long while ago at the carnival. [break][break] tl;dr: Cassian walked and responded to Enzo, while seeing that about four skeletons were following them behind in the distance (same ones that were originally close to Enzo) in slow manner. Caught a glance at what he suspected could be julius vesper earlier on, now noticed someone that looked like the prosecutor in the distance again; approached from behind and stood there silently with Enzo. ADMIN [break][break]
All of Autumn's focus at the moment would have been on escaping from the carnage currently filling the streets. For the most part she would have been looking straight ahead, sprinting as fast as she could away from the skeletons while only glancing over her shoulder every once in a while early on to see if she was still being followed. After a little while she even stopped glancing back completely and started to assume that if she could still hear the rattling of bones behind her she just needed to run faster; though the high heels were definitely making that a bit more difficult than it should be. Fortunately while it definitely slowed her down it didn't seem to slow her down enough for the skeletons to be able to catch her, at least for now.[break][break] With her undivided attention on making sure she wasn't running into any more skeletons the approaching man was something she didn't notice except for catching a glimpse of something moving out of the corner of her eye. Without being able to tell what it was and not willing to look back to find out it would have just prompted her to keep running... right up until the point where she heard bones clanking to the floor and a human voice screaming out in pain. When Autumn glanced over her shoulder out of curiosity this time she would finally see Signus fending off the skeletons that had been chasing her, a sigh of relief being let out as she would stop running for the first time since this whole thing started. She figured she could at least use this opportunity to catch her breath if nothing else.[break][break] At the moment Autumn wouldn't speak up, not wanting to distract the man from his current opponent. She would just keep an eye out for him and check up on him afterwards to make sure that he was okay. But... how could he stay so calm in the middle of all of this? Autumn's chest was pounding from both running for so long and all of the adrenaline, yet this man seemed perfectly at ease aside from the pain of his injury. Well, there had to be some people who had the fight instinct and not the flight instinct, right? Otherwise this whole mess would never get cleaned up.[break][break] In the midst of her analyzing the situation Autumn would hear some more rattling sounds coming from between her and Signus, her eyes quickly scanning the scene and trying to determine what was going on. Then she would see it; yet another skeleton rushing out of an alleyway and charging at Signus from behind. She may not have been a fighter but she could at least keep him from being ambushed! "Watch out! Another one behind you!" She figured he could probably hear the rattling of the bones but just in case he was too focused on his current opponent she wanted to let him know. Besides, maybe this would get this new skeleton's attention on herself... and if it did, well, back to running! TAGS:ADMINSignus[break] TLDR: Autumn stops running and turns around after Signus gets injured by the remaining skeleton. She decides to wait until after the fight to check to make sure he's okay, however while waiting she notices one skeleton rushing up behind Signus to ambush him and calls out to warn him.
With no enemies in sight, he was able to take a moment to catch his breath for the first time since the battle started. The adrenaline in his system was finally slowing down, allowing him to fully realize the situation after staring at the gun in his hand for a few moments. His gaze went back to the patrolman on the ground, laying on his stomach with a pool of blood under him. "What the hell..." Backing away, he muttered to himself in shock.
This was no sleep deprived induced dream he had whenever he stood up late to study or when he felt like binging his favorite anime. What was happening was as real as the dead that lay around him. It was a situation ripped straight from some horror novel where the gates of hell rip open and the undead are fully free to roam the earth. Could this be happening in other parts of the world at this very moment? Is the end of humanity actually here?
The sound of a woman screaming slapped him out of his own mind and back to what was now his reality. The source was a mother, who was running away from a group of three skeletons wielding swords. Her high heels weren't helping her situation as she was having trouble running in the women shoes. The lack of experience caused her to fall to the ground as the skeletons were closing in on her.
Another pair of shots burst out from his gun, claiming the undead by ripping through the skulls. His gaze aimed for the third, ready to finish it off like the others. Only for him to feel an unbearable pain on his back. A pain caused by the blade of a skeleton slashing across his back. Fresh blood soaked the back of his shirt as he fell over, but somehow managing to catch himself on a knee. Clenching his teeth, he twisted his body around and shot at the skeleton that attacked him. The point blank shot killed the undead with ease.
Another ran at him, but he lean to the side so the swing only grazed the side of his head. Another shot and another undead killed. The gun was empty so he grabbed the sword of one of the fallen undead and rushed the one he forgot. He managed to cut it down without any problem but was too late to help as a stab wound was present on the mother's back.
tl;dr Saw a mother being chased by 3 skeletons Shot down two of them only to get a cut to his back by another Worked through the pain and shot his attacker Got a cut to the side of his head by another before shooting it dead. Took a sword as his gun was now empty cut down the final skeleton, but was too late to help the mother Skeletons killed: 5 Rakutsu's total kill count: 10
The skeleton before him was on guard, had his blood on its blade, and if it had facial tissue.. Probably looked rather happy at what harm it done, that or concentrated on various methods to ends his life. He wasn't quite sure, just knew he had 1 dagger in his right hand prepare to block and strike... The thing, seemed to KNOW he was waiting to slip past it. Concentrating so much on not losing more blood to this thing's weapons, he wasn't aware of the new Skeleton entering the arena. However "Watch out! Another one behind you!" shout coming up behind him made him suddenly tense up, swinging a strike right at the thing behind him managing to slicing its head off. The head bouncing before fading away leaving a grief seed.
This.. of course leaving the one who had his blood on its sword to decide 'look he looked away, time to attack!' Lucky for him he ducked stabbing the boney mid-bottom-section of its... stomach? area? Really he should have paid more attention to Biology class. Once it breaks down falling to dust on top of him, the grief seed popping him on the forehead earning a "Ow! stupid... Earnings.." Rolling to raise up, flinching greatly at the pain the thing created, too much pressure in the arm. How many were there of these things? As if to answer his question he could see EVEN MORE in the distance... Ugh...
He turned to the female just basically saved his life, appreciation written all over it. "Thank you.." He spoke loudly toward her, before bending over to pocket the 2 grief seeds, and his other dagger. Releasing a small sigh, looking at her, "Do you know how to fight? These.. Things.. are really.. weak.. one strike." He kinda mumbled blush crossing his face, almost as if this was a terrible idea asking this stranger to help him.
Summary --- --------> Thanks to AUTUMN INARIUS he managed to kill 1 skeleton coming up behind --------> Then dropped barely dodging the one who managed to hurt him, to kill it. --------> He now debates on offering her his other dagger, since he doesn't wanna do it alone. ----------------> Total Kills: 8 so far

Of course, obliging to a nosy photographer wasn’t necessary, but he accepted the nice gesture. ”Oh? Something like a distant lover, who you must find no matter what?” Didn’t take much info for it to be twisted it into something out of the norm and he continued. ”Please, meet me at the top of the tower before I expire…my love.” the end was topped it off with a gagging noise, tongue lolled, and hand placed on his heart. [break] [break] Playful dramatics concluding, pace quicken, chuckles happened in the face of their skeleton danger. ”Whoa, no way man. This horror will be filmed until the end. Can’t leave yet anyway…I have a few people to meet. Heh.” For all the jokes and nonsense, meeting with a few friends beneath the tower nearly died in the chaos, leaving him to wonder if their heads were placed on spikes by now. [break] [break] ”Yvette and Lemont—shit I hope they aren’t dead. We had a crazy party to attend an all. What a shit show.” He sighed, trailing the man steps. Not replying was fine, sometimes airing out worries and complaints were all people cared for. Eyes landed on the two unfamiliar beings in the distance, yet a roar commanded attention somewhere off to the left. ”Nuh-uh, I got this one. Go ahead." nodding his head a few times, he gulped and exhale, steeling anxious bones ready to run. He waved, might be his last goodbye ”Be right back [break] [break] If anyone knew the rules to scary Halloween movies or horror in general, they’d understand those words meant death. No coming back with a knife in your heart. Nevertheless, Enzo ran to his death, full azure head of steam whipping in the wind. ”Arrrrgghh!” he was screaming, and so confused on why he reacted in such a way. [break] [break] The enemy swung the serrated lance originally catching Enzo’s eye. Instincts assumed control, anticipating the attack. Slipping below the weapons, a sloppy rendition of what he recalled earlier. Although instead of countering, the body swung behind the boney aggressor, long arms latched around its waist, snuggling in arms. Quickly, he bridged his body backward, slamming it on its neck. Bones cracked and Enzo rolled from beneath to his feet. Raising his foot, he stomped the head into dust. The double tap rule in effect. [break] [break] Saying nothing, fingers curled around the weapon that felt quite comfortable, like it was meant to be, before heading back. [break] [break] A big smile stretched his features. ”I did that. Wassup?” Leaning on his newfound lance, lungs sucked in deep, greedy breaths. ”Which one of you is his lover and does one of you know a Lemont or Yvette?” Keeping it casual, that’s how he liked it. "Shit, man. You do know you bleeding right?" [break] [break] [break]

Émilie looked up at her friend, speechless. There were very few times that Yvette raised her voice in such a manner towards the purple haired maiden and each time was a shock. In a situation like this – where the world was becoming some horror show – Émilie was beyond useless. The sound of screaming, thunder, and metal against pavement was filling the air and completely destroying her mental state. It was hard to think and even harder to move at the movement. She knew she was a liability in a situation like this.
In an emergency, she was supposed to be calm and keep a level head. Doctors were people who were supposed to be able to help at all times but she couldn't stop her heart from pounding. In fact, it was a bit of a shock to see how relaxed and in charge her friend was. The world felt like it was ending but somehow Yvette had appeared like a heroine and saved her from what Émilie assumed what was about to be her demise; now she was taking charge by telling Julius to watch over her because she was going to hunt him down if something happened. “Y-yvette...” she stammered. Those words made it sound like her friend was going to do something crazy like lure the skeletons towards her and buy them a chance to escape. That was insane!
Before she could truly form words, fog was rolling in and Yvette was yelling for them to run. Immediately, she felt the man grab her hand and pull her along in the opposite direction of the tower. ”Yvette!” she shouted as her friend's body started to disappear in the fog but a weird light shined in that area but immediately get lost and dimmed in the fog.
What happened to her friend?! Her body was moving to keep from falling on the ground and being dragged by Julius but she was still having a hard time keeping pace with him. The man took a sharp turn as they headed towards an alley once out of the fog. Once again, she felt her body being jerked suddenly, time time away from the blade of one of the monster's. Émilie landed hard on the ground, leaving her breathless for a second as she heard the man behind her grunt then the sound of the bat colliding with something. When she turned around, she saw the aftermath.
The skeleton had been destroyed but now Julius was bleeding. “Oh no!” The blood immediately pulled her from her the paralyzing grips of fear back to herself. He helped Émilie to her feet as she went and her first instincts were to look over the man's fresh injury. Grabbing a top layer of the skirt, she ripped the cloth, making a makeshift bandage. Immediately, she forced him to hold his arm out and straight as she tied it over the wound to keep pressure on it and unexposed to the elements. Undead monsters were walking and who knew if they carried airborne diseases. “Mr. Vesper... I'm sorry,” she apologized.
Had she not been so frazzled, this might have not happened. It helped her mind immediately want to do the things she learned in school but she really should have been in a better state of mind to begin with. It was funny how despite getting hurt, he worried about her. “I'm... a little better. When things settle down, I'll look at it properly bu this should help keep the wound from being exposed.” Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath as she tried to keep herself calm. The purple haired masked girl was still shaking but she was better than before. Even if this situation was dire and she might not see tomorrow, there were things she could do to keep someone else safe – to keep people she knew safe.
“Yvette...!”
Her mind seemed to realize what she allowed him to do and wanted to scream. They left her! She didn't have a weapon or anything and they just left her! Looking at the fallen sword that had Julius's blood, she groaned before picking it up. It was a bit heavy but the keyboard that she carried to practice at times was much heavier. “Right! She ran off further into danger. I have to go after her and drag her here,” she started to suggest when her body quickly jumped and she pointed the sword towards two unknown men. One was dressed as a team rocket villain and the other was a clown. They were both, living, breathing people; and one of them even looked a bit familiar. The girl with the sword looked at the man with the lance for a moment then slowly pointed it back at the ground.
”Sorry,” she apologized. It wasn't normal for her to hold something like this or point it at people but given the situation, she expected to forgiven. The man asked if one of them were the lover of the clown and Émilie looked at Julius. ”Lover?” Before she could question things too much, the man said the wrong word causing Émilie to pick the sword back up and point it at the blue haired villain. ”Yvette...” Actually, she didn't have time to be bothered with this.
She needed to go look for Yvette!
Her head turned back towards the foggy area. ”Right. She needs help, but you're bleeding...” Her sense of responsibility and her love of her friend were at odds. There was nothing more she could for Julius but he got hurt protecting her. ”If I go looking for her, will you be okay alone. With the clown who thinks your his boyfriend,” she asked worried. The amount of monster had dwindled down considerably but she still felt like Yvette might be in danger, especially since the fog provided a cover for those skeletons to hide in. Still, Halloween brought out weird people and there was a guy with a weapon and a clown. Leaving him might be bad too. She would wait for what Julius wanted.
TLDR: Emi has recovered from fear status effect. Emi equips sword. Sword is pointed towards Cassian Gérard and ENZO PATEL . Emi is awaiting julius vesper response if it's okay to leave him with weirdos.
[attr="class","stylishtext"] Oh, how unfortunate. Whomever that guy was that Hitomi seemed to be fighting for had so easily turned tail and left her side. If those were the types of men she went for... good luck to her. Yvette surely couldn't see herself parading the streets with a liability. She was more of the assets, type of girl. But, to each their own. With the shrug of her shoulders, she turned tail and ducked back into the crevice of the two buildings. Her fog slowly taking its leave as she strolled through at a leisurely pace. Taking sight to the fallen skeletons that laid within the ruins of a makeshift battlefield. These had to be a combination of she and... that guy. She had almost forgotten that she left Emi in the hands of some stranger! Alright, time to move. Yvette refused to leave her precious friends in the arms of a complete and utter strang—Snap! [break][break] Eyes widened as her personal field of gravity evoked a sudden wobble. The heel of her right stiletto snapped from underneath her. Causing a very ugly shift in posture. And an even uglier glare at the heel as it laid dead next to the remains of skeletons past. "Grrrrrr," the audible disdain was mumbled as both shoes were removed from her feet and tossed aside. Gross, she would have to walk around the streets barefoot. Hues rolled and a sigh left her lips before she continued onward towards the exit of the alley. Leaning downward to pilfer a fallen skeletons sword and shield before exiting. Highly doubting that she would be able to freely use her magic from here on out, she needed some form of defensive measures. And, oddly enough, the sword and shield didn't feel odd to hold. In fact, her digits coiled about the blade in a rather familiar manner. [break][break] Head turned towards the tower, with no sight of Emi or the stranger present, a sigh of minimal relief left her lips before she took to darting towards where she hoped, the two would have been. Having left them means for escape and all. She figured the guy wasn't dense enough to go another direction... right? "All I wanted to do, was go to a party. That's it." But instead, it seemed as though she would be out playing gladiator. Trading in heels and solo cups, for blades and blood. Which... sounded like a horror film in itself. Had their lives not been in danger, Yvette was sure the mass public would have been head over heels for the skeletons. But alas, this was a real danger. And she wanted to get Emi, out of it. [break][break] So onward she went. Traversing the plain of the unknown until two figures caught her attention. One being looked to be a clown of some sort? (Cassian Gérard) Interesting choice of Halloween costume. And then the other. A familiar blue haired male with lance in hand (ENZO PATEL). And, while neither of them was who she came to see, In the midst of them, she did manage to pinpoint her purple-haired gal pal. "Emi!" She called forth, darting over to the girl (Émilie Cadence) and wrapping arms around her body and giving her another warm embrace. "Let me look at you," she took a step back, giving Emi a scrutinous look over. Aside from the ripped skirt, which she soon realized was used as a makeshift bandage, Emi looked to have been fine. Physically, that is. "Okay, you're good." And... she had a sword? "What were you planning on doing with that?" Oh, wait... she turned to face the stranger from before (julius vesper), "thank you for keeping her safe." [break][break] Eyes fixated back to Emi. Then towards the two others. One carrying a nice weapon in tow. The other... still a clown. "Well... I guess there is safety in numbers..." Too many people. Not enough magic opportunity. Great. Though she managed to cut a glance at the male from before (julius vesper), she still had questions. What a ragtag team this was.
