Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
When Signus managed to both deal with the skeleton coming up behind him and the one he had already been facing Autumn would just let out a sigh of relief. She didn't want to see anyone get hurt but she knew she wasn't going to be much use here, at least not when it came to actually fighting. It was something that would cause her to blush a bit and look off to the side when Signus asked her to help take the rest of the skeletons out. In response Autumn would just shake her head a few times, still glancing off to the side and down towards the ground a bit as she would bite her bottom lip. "N-no th-thanks. I'm n-not a fighter."[break][break] It was a mixture of embarrassment and a little bit of fear that would cause the little bit of stuttering. To people like Signus this might not seem like a big deal, however to someone like Autumn- who up until this point was completely unaware this kind of thing could even happen in the world- even these weak skeletal underlings were enough to make her feel afraid and uneasy. It was something he might be able to pick up on if Signus were able to notice her eyes darting around even as she looked off to the side, as if she was trying to stay alert and keep an eye out for any other ambush that might happen. Though suddenly her head would raise again and she'd seem to get another burst of energy. "Oh! Your shoulder! Are you going to be okay?!"[break][break] While she wanted desperately to help him at the moment Autumn also knew that staying here was a bad, bad idea... especially as the sound of rattling bones was still able to be heard in the distance, getting louder with each passing second. "We need to get out of here, fast!" With that Autumn would start running again, grabbing Signus by the front of his shirt to give him a slight tug along after her before letting go of him and continuing to run, hoping he would get the message. "Let's go!" And with that she was off, only looking back to see what Signus would do if she wasn't able to hear either his footsteps following her or him talking to her at a relatively consistent volume afterwards. Though as fate would have it, she would start leading them off towards the other group that had started to form; it would just take a while to actually reach them, so who knows what could happen in the meantime. TAGS:ADMINSignus(Primary)|YVETTE YAMAMOTOÉmilie CadenceENZO PATELCassian Gérardjulius vesper(Secondary)[break] TLDR: After Signus took care of the skeletons, Autumn quickly asked if he was okay but decided it was best not to stay in one spot for two long. She took off, attempting to bring Signus with her. Whether lucky or not, she started leading the two of them off towards the group of Yvette, Emilie, Enzo, Cassian and Julius... but they're still a good bit away, so there's time for things to interrupt that. (Whether you guys want to actually meet up or not is up to you, I just rolled to see if she would end up heading towards them or away from them and ended up with her heading in that direction. Any of you, especially Signus, feel free to change the course of action if you would like.)
While initial moments may have indicated that the blue-haired photographer was relatively ordinary after he so politely showed concern for the magician's safety, the more this fellow talked the more it came rather clear that he was quite dramatic in his own sense. Cassian showed no response to the excitable reactions his temporary partner in this mess showed, nor did he give much thought to the words and speculation which stumbled from his talkative companion's mouth. If anything, it was quite amusing. After all, Cassian could not exactly complain about someone not being completely ordinary, could he? [break][break]
Leaving the cameraman to indulge in his short but sweet diversion where he gathered himself a lance of sorts after scuffling with a bony foe, what caught his attention more was the sharp sword pointed in his direction by a rather frightened woman. Violet-haired and obviously in distress, she seemed to be accompanying the dark-haired male that Cassian seemed to recognize. While the idea of someone's lover had thrown some expected distraction into the collision of individuals, the magician paid no attention to any of it, simply being in place with his eyes observing the duo opposite him and the bone-lancer.[break][break]
Clown? Frowning slightly, Cassian's blue head tilted back a little in subtle offense to the words spoken by the lady, before moving back into its original position just as brief as the initial movement were. [break][break]
Upon the turn of the man with the baseball bat, the sorcerer's belief that it were the man he once met turned out to be true. Although, perhaps the obstructed view and chaotic nature of the scene at the time made him mistake something or another for magic used by this very same man. After all, he was wielding a baseball bat; if he did utilize a spell of some kind, why would he need the bat? Or did the bat come with the ability? Unsure, Cassian chose not to address it; the idea of magic to the man who didn't seem to believe in it may have been twisted in a different direction after he'd been involved in a horrific show of dark power such as tonight. Skeletons moving at their own whims would be one way to start believing in the mystical, that's for sure. [break][break] Not long after that, the sight of a spirited, raven-haired girl showed up with clear concern for the people the blue-haired duo had come across. They were acquainted in some way or another, be it from before this event or due to this frightful occasion itself. And she was...barefoot? That had to be uncomfortable, golden orbs that were Cassian's eyes merely spectating over the unfolding scene between everyone. Of course, he was very aware of the fact that skeletons - the last in the vicinity as far as their positioning were concerned - still approached from the rear. [break][break]
Before Cassian had decided to welcome their skeletal guests himself, the baseball bat wielding man lunged past in impressive fashion, dispatching one of the bony foes with a well-timed swing, clattering down one of the remaining four. Hands behind his lower back with a glance over his shoulder at the last of the ghouls, Cassian grunted beneath his breath lowly, turning on his heel and thrusting his arm out in a firm throwing motion, launching the red juggling ball in his hand towards the throat of another skeleton. The ball smashed through the bones connecting up to the head, shattering the connection which caused the skull to fly off as the body limply collapsed upon itself.[break][break]
The magician's other hand gracefully came out to skillfully propel a playing card toward the third skeleton, the card dashing through the air and sharply slotting into the forehead of the bony enemy, making its head bounce backward slightly and leaving it stunned from the crisp precision; open to an attack from whoever wished to follow up on this ragtag-group combo. At the same time, a playing card hovered down through the air, levitating through the air before scooping low across the concrete to slip underneath the sturdy juggling ball several meters or so away, floating upward and beginning to deliver the item back to Cassian as he used a version of his magic to retrieve the makeshift weapon. It would go by unnoticed, unless someone notably perceptive looked out for a stray playing card moving around the side of the attacks placed upon the skeletons.[break][break] tl;dr: Took note of the people around him, as well as Yvette's entrance. Threw a juggling ball through one skeleton's neck to defeat it, then threw a playing card against the forehead of another to stun it, leaving it open for someone else to come in and finish it off. Then low-key controlled a different card in his position with magic to make it fly over to the fallen juggling ball, sweep up under it and begin floating it back toward Cassian so he may retrieve it in a moment. As she ran the only thing Autumn could think about was getting as far away from here as possible. She didn't know what was going on or why it was happening... or even if the rest of the city was safe, come to think of it. The moment she realized that last bit her mind would wander to her parents, worried that they had somehow got caught up in all of this mess and hoping that they were okay. For now, however, she couldn't afford to take her attention off of the situation at hand. Instead she would just continue to run as fast as she could, even though she knew that just running wouldn't solve anything and eventually the problem had to get dealt with. She just didn't want to be there if things got even more out of control than they already were.[break][break] After a little while she would have glanced back one last time to see if Signus was following her and also to check if any of the skeletons would have made an appearance behind them. Unfortunately Autumn would have picked a pretty bad time to look back instead of keeping her eyes ahead of her; as she did so the rattling of bones would be able to be heard from the direction she was running. As the skeleton finished mauling a bystander who was unlucky enough to have not been able to escape in time and had been hiding around the corner it would have moved out into the open, directly in the path where Autumn was running. Then all of a sudden a sequence of snaps and cracks would be heard as both Autumn would inadvertently have shoulder tackled the skeleton.[break][break] As the two came crashing down to the ground Autumn would wind up landing on top of the risen soldier, shattering it to pieces and sending fragments of bones skittering across the ground in all directions. It wasn't the most graceful- or intentional- way to take out one of the enemies... but hey, whatever worked, right? "Owwww..." As Autumn lay on the ground she would eventually roll over, wincing a bit from the pain of colliding with bone and concrete. A few cuts would be visible on her arms and legs from some of the sharper pieces of broken bone, however there were luckily no major injuries. For a few seconds she would just lay there in a daze, recovering from the fall and regaining her composure. TAGS:ADMINSignus [break] TLDR: While running away from the location she was at previously, Autumn ends up running directly into one skeleton and shattering it to pieces by accidentally tackling it onto concrete. [break][break] "So, they are stronger than I thought. Hehe, very well! Let's test them even further then, shall we??" A sharp bolt of lightning would sound off with a vicious crackle. Lighting up the night sky. However, this strike of lightning was not that of normal weather phenomena. The same to be said about the night in entirety. The lightning would strike at a specific location, the Les Invalides. "It is time! Rise now!" The voice would echo about the sky, followed by hearty laughter. "HAHAHA!! I'VE RETURNED!!!" [break][break]
[break] From outside of the Les Invalides, a smaller army of the skeletal grunts would gather. Encircling the establishment as the doors would fling open and a larger skeleton clad in a regal purple robe and crown strut forth. "Ahhh, what a great feeling to be back. Although, I must admit, I do miss my flesh..." The large skeleton would give himself a look over before craning his skull about to the skeletal army. Now, all kneeling down to him. "Ah, my loyal army. I have missed you." His head craned upward. "My kingdom. I am back to rule you once more." Bony digits reached into his robe, pulling forth a large gold-encrusted sword. Raising it skyward, he exclaimed. "NAPOLEAN BONAPARTE!" [break][break] Napoleon's blade would swipe at the air, pointing onward towards the Eiffel Tower. "GO! ATTACK, MY ARMY!!" [break][break] At his call, the skeletal creatures rose. Drawing their swords and shields. All darting towards the tower. Napoleon, standing back and cackling heartily. "I've been reborn!! What a joyous night!! I'll take back what belongs to me! France, My France!"" [break][break]

A card, and Julius was reminded of when he first met the magician. How he had merely thought it was a wire trick at the time. But now, now something was telling him it was different. For one, why would someone use a wire card in battle? It didn't make sense and the way it moved, it wasn't so much in a straight line. It was too complex. Julius wondered for a moment just what the movement was back then. Also, he had a different explanation now, one that made sense to what the man had asked him about back then.[break][break]
Magic.[break][break]
Before Julius could give him a questioning look or try to take out the skeleton he had distracted, there was a crack of lighting followed by the roar of thunder. The suddenness made the prosecutor look up to hear a voice roaring in the sky. Grey eyes squinted before looking at the skeletons only to see that they have retreated. On one hand, he hoped that it was over. However, the booming voice told him otherwise. Someone had apparently returned and Julius had a feeling that it wasn't going to be good.[break][break]
Slowly he looked back to his group. Of the five, he knew that three can use magic for sure, one certainly couldn't while the last one was unknown. And really, it wasn't like he could just casually ask this, not without possibly without causing a giant mess to deal with after this. The male bit his lips in contemplation, it was best to go with certainty in this situation...especially with his injured shoulder. Julius wasn't really sure to what extent he can protect someone right now. "You, he started pointing the blue-haired man with his bat, "please take miss Emile away from this scene. Find the police and stay with them." As for how to get the other two to go with him without looking like he was specifically choosing them. "As for the rest, come with me. We'll see if we can find any other survivors." Did that...did that sound alright? Well, it wasn't like Julius had time to really contemplate on his words.[break][break]
Not wanting to give them too much time to react (or worse, argue with him), Julius started to run in the direction of where the skeletons were not exactly attacking them as it didn't seem as if they were actively trying to hurt anyone. As he continued to follow them at a distance, he noted how they seem to be gathering more and more.[break][break]
Just what was going on?[break][break]

The girl blushed, why wasn't she accepting the weapon? He looked at her baffled while she said no thanks, not doing it. Well.. Fine then! Just die. Stuttering like a little scared coward. "Fine then Ju-" He about to comment before she suddenly asked if his shoulder was okay, it did.. hurt a little.. Now he thought about it... He subconsciously attempted to look at it only seeing glimpses of the blood, before she suddenly shouted about getting out of there fast and grabbing at his shirt. Tugging at it, wait what? "Whoa whoa ho-" Before taking off in a complete random direction.... The opposite direction.... He breathed upset, This girl going to get herself killed!"
He chased after her, "Behi-!" He went to shout, only a bit too late as the girl ran literal right into a skeleton insta-killing it. He gave a small groan, at least... she didn't get hurt... She seemed to be in bit of a daze a bit a couple cuts bleeding. Well... He def couldn't do anything about that made him feel a small pang he didn't have the power to heal, but rather the power to sicken those around him.
He slowly walked up to her, "You really.. really.. Shouldn't be running toward the enemies.." The comment coming off as a small soft laugh before looking around for anyone else to appear, almost as if on que a loud voice boomed echoing through the town. "FUCKING HELL! IS THAT!" He shouted looking around for an invisible enemy, the sound coming form where they were headed. He pointed toward the sound, "There..... That's where it is..." He commented slowly cautiously, vile taste in his mouth.
[attr="class","stylishtext"] Now that she looked at the blue-haired male once again, his name as well as where they had met immediately came to mind. "Enzo?" Right. This was the male she had helped craft a unique Halloween costume for. To avoid the ghastly basic bitch syndrome he was so worried about catching. As if it were an airborne pathogen of some sort. But, that didn't explain why he was looking for her, though? Did he want to thank her again for her time and effort? It would have been quite the kind gesture, sure. But with everything going on, that surely could have waited. Her head craned over to him, "What were you looking for me f—" Another strike of lightning lit up the bleak and dark sky. Effectively stealing Yvette's attention. "!!" What was it now? The last time lightning struck like that, an army of the undead rose, ready to do battle. [break][break] Neck snapped towards what sounded like bellowing laughter. "What..?" So much was happening. She didn't know where to focus the brunt of her attention. That is until the stranger (julius vesper) called forth. Taking the initiative to elect himself the leader, commands were given. ENZO PATEL was ordered to stay by Émilie Cadence's side. Meanwhile, Yvette, the clown, and he himself; was to go forth and search for survivors? Arms crossed over her chest. Sword and shield still in tow. It made sense, to some degree. Clearly, those three were magically inclined. They were best fit to go into the line of fire. But, leaving Emi with Enzo... that didn't sit well with Yves. But... if she didn't get to the bottom of this catastrophe, Emi would still be in danger all the same. [break][break] "I—" before a protest could be made, the man darted off. "...this is why I'm not a fan of team projects..." hues rolled, and head shook. Body turning to Enzo. "I'm not ordering you. I'm asking you, please watch after Emi." With tensions high, ordering him didn't seem like the best course of action. That, and she had a sinking sensation that if he was given another order, he would revolt and do whatever he willed and wished. "Emi," head craned to her friend, "whatever it takes, keep yourself safe. I'll be back." And with that, a nod was given to the clown man (Cassian Gérard), before she darted off following down behind the black haired male onto the frontlines. [break][break] Sprinting as fast as she could, she would manage to catch up to him (julius vesper) eventually. "I hope by 'survivors', you meant to destroy whatever the hell is causing all of this?" Eyes would soon take note to an oncoming skeleton. Sword in hand, Yvette would toss the weapon akin to a javelin. Sinking the blade into the skull of the skeleton and ceasing its second existence.* Another soon coming behind, she would toss the shield and send the creature back to its death. Watching it crumble upon impact.* [break][break] With her weapons gone. She had no choice but to use her wits and her magic.
[attr="class","notes"]tldr — yves exterminates 2 skeletons. she asks enzo to watch after emi, looks to cassian, and follows behind julius into the fray.
A magnificent crackle in the sky of malicious intent boomed vibrantly with a flash, lightning storming down violently upon a location in the near distance, a tone of ghoulish triumph scattering among the dark night above. It had seemed that the night of the dead was not over just yet and a final turn was laying in wait before this horrific occurrence could be pinned down and smothered for good. At the moment the sky lit up in all of its terrifying glory, it sounded as if a voice had announced itself; was that the sound which belonged to the orchestrator of this event? [break][break]
Slowly, Cassian's golden hues rolled up to glance up at the sky, his paper-white expression holding neutrality as his gaze emitted dark curiosity; while this turn of events was dire, it had certainly caught his attention overall. As those around him began to converse and interact, the magician simply scanned the area around, clutching the juggling ball in his hand behind his lower back after a controlled, levitating card subtly retrieved and returned it to his grasp. Unfortunately, his cards - while sharp - were not the type to slice through bone; and while the throwing ball was a gifted projectile when wielded by his own hand, a more versatile approach was needed. As his makeshift group began to take action and make requests of one another, the blue-haired sorcerer bent over to lift a shortsword from the floor. A brief stare came over the pile of bones it once belonged to; it wouldn't be needing it anymore.[break][break]
Holding the shortsword by the hilt, the magician spun it around once, then flipped it upside down only to swivel the handle upright once more, his head cocking to lock onto an exchanged look with the spirited girl in his presence. It had seemed she acknowledged him as someone she - at least for now - could count on in this deepening event of madness. The dark-haired man had taken it upon himself to charge into the fray of fresh skeletons, aiming in the direction of which the lightning struck down, the path of undead acting as some type of indicator that the true end to this Halloween chaos could be found past the bony defenses of the walking corpses. As she began to follow the man he had met before, Cassian turned to face the direction of their new goal, his back to the photographer and the violet-haired female with him. Without so much as looking back, Cassian moved forward.[break][break]
A walk turned into a pace, a pace turned into a jog and then that jog became a quick sprint as the pale magician gathered speed; a red, solid ball in hand behind his back and a sharp shortsword extended out to his side, neither a smile nor a frown upon his face, the only notable feature on his expression being the calm concentration in his eyes. They almost looked lifeless - or at least cold - however his movements were anything but. [break][break] A swift leap caused him to pounce high into the air, jumping over the dark-haired girl and the other male, several meters high into the air due to his magical prowess. It almost had seemed like he was floating for a moment or two, before he came stomping down upon a standing skeleton's head, driving its skull down to the ground and shattering it upon impact, rolling off from the fall only to sweep up and pivot, lashing the sword across the air to cleave a second foe's head from its skeletal shoulders. A quick spin of the wrist let the blade turn, remnants of old bone drifting down from the metal, specs of death littering the floor while Cassian stood firm and upright. An impressive duo of kills came from the girl near to the same time period.[break][break]
A sharp glance to the man saw that some skeletons had noticed their approach and began making their way toward him, although he had ample time to act. Peering in the other direction, the girl had another skeleton hobbling in her path now, bony soles clicking across the concrete; she had launched her sword away and tossed her shield which may have made this oncoming undead to her more of a complication than normal. Cassian whipped his arm out from behind his back, turning and pivoting before hurling the solid, red ball through the air; it swept through the air like a portable rocket before crunching through the side of the skeleton's dome and caving into it as it were a couple of meters from the girl. Of course, he assumed she would have been fine without his interference, although there were no need to take such risks at this moment. The skeleton crumbled down to the ground from the impact, its bones intact except from the smashed skull at the peak of its fallen body, a red ball rolling out from the broken head upon the collapse.[break][break]
Cassian pointed from his position at the red ball upon the floor, then turned his stare at the woman. His hand gestured forward in the pointed motion again at the baseball-sized sphere, before his palm and digits turned into that of an open palm, a small smile on his face.[break][break]
He wanted the ball back.[break][break] tl;dr: Followed the other two into the fray, leaped over them and landed on a skeleton's head, then cut another one's head off. Turned and saw some skeletons coming toward Julius, although he still has time to plan and react. Turned to look at Yvette, saw that a skeleton was closing in after she'd threw her sword and shield - launched the solid ball at that skeleton's head to eliminate it, then gestured for her to throw the ball back to him. Three skeletons eliminated, fifteen left. ADMIN [break][break]
"Oh?" Napolean peered onward into the distance. Watching as his army slowly began falling at the hands of two beings. "Hohoho! So there are competent warriors present! Things have gotten interesting!" With his blade raised, he took off from his stoop and began dashing towards the three (julius vesper, YVETTE YAMAMOTO, and Cassian Gérard). Darting through the remainder of the skeletons until he reached the three. Skeletal maw opened and a hearty laugh flowing forth. "Show me your strength!! How will you fare against me and my Grande Armeé?? Show me your might!!" [break][break] The skeletons parted their ranks and allowed their leader to follow through. With his blade raised, he fixated his sights upon julius vesper. Bringing his blade down in a crashing vertical slash. Aiming at the male's shoulder. Ready to slice him in two if the attack connected. "Let the battle... BEGIN!!" Napoleon cried out in glorious gusto. Bellowing his laughter. Echoing about the Parisian streets for all to hear. A glimmer coming from the crown atop of his head and a jewel that rested against his chest. "SHOW US A GOOD TIME!" [break][break] The remainder of the skeletons would lunge forward, swords readied and aimed for the other two beings within their sights (YVETTE YAMAMOTO + Cassian Gérard). Their bones rattling in the wind as they all cackled in unison, ready to slice, dice, and conquer for their leader. [break][break]

It seemed the two magic users were following Julius, which was good. He was quite certain he couldn't do this alone, especially when he had only learned about this world a month ago. There was also the fact that his shoulder was still injured, even with Emile's makeshift bandage. It helped, he was sure that it would have been worse without her but the best case scenario would have just been to not be injured in the first place. At the question the girl, Yvette, had asked him, he gave a small nod. It was good that she had caught onto the lie if only because he doubted Emile would have been so willing to stay back (if she even was right now) if he was to outright said he had plans to find a way to end this. Glancing back, he noted the magician was also following them albeit quietly, his face still as blank as ever. It was quite amazing how the man did not seem to have any fear nor determination in him. [break][break]
As the girl fought, Julius noted the skeletons that came near him. He swung the bat managing to get two of them to fall onto the ground before crushing their skills with his shoes. He dropped the bat as it was too bent to be of any use now. Again he glanced back noting that he didn't see Emile or Enzo (as Yvette had identified him). Using their magic should hopefully be safe...even if Julius's own magic might catch the eye of the people. Light magic in the night was not exactly very subtle. [break][break]
Suddenly a giant skeleton in a purple regal approached them...this must have been the leader. He was the one that stood out the most anyway. The fact that the other skeletons seemed to part way for him (which really painted the image of a skeleton king of sorts) has only supported the theory. Julius saw the movement, saw the one the creature lifted his sword. He had two options here. One was to grab the sword of a fallen skeleton but he doubted that would be very useful. Not with how that sword looked much heavier. The prosecutor prepared himself as the sword came down. He needed to time this. [break][break]
As the sword came down, he started to move his hand down calling forth the light of the streets to create a bow for him. The bow itself did not fully take solid form as much as physical energy. Using his right hand he drew the bow to create an arrow. Just as the sword was about to make contact, Julius called forth a small wall in front of him to protect himself from the blow. Fortunately, the sword bounced off the shield.[break][break]
Now! Julius, let the arrow fly point blank at the skeleton before rolling over to his left in hopes of creating some distance. Gray eyes momentarily off of the skeleton in front of him to see how the other two were doing. After all, he had been the one that specifically asked (or rather chose) them to come with him. In other words, they were his responsibility.[break][break]

[attr="class","stylishtext"] Oh, so the clown man (Cassian Gérard) decided to join them after all? The more the merrier, she reasoned. Watching onward as the male saved her from a close call, as well as crumbling a skeleton in his wake afterward. "Thanks." She turned to him before her head snapped towards the oncoming major threat. A larger skeletal male clad in regal garb. A crown fixed atop his head and a gaudy necklace with a glowing jewel. So... was it safe to assume that getting rid of him would make the lesser skeletons vanish? That's usually how these things worked, right? It seemed like the most reasonable course of action among... all of the other chaos that fell onto Paris this night. "So," Yves spoke towards the clown-clad male, "do you want to handle these little grunts or take on their lead—" [break][break] Her thoughts were effectively halted at the sight of the enemies sword crashing down onto the shield formed by the stranger (julius vesper). That confirmed it. He was a user of magic and there was no denying it. Undeniable proof. And, as much as she wished to comment on it, there were far bigger issues at her doorstep. Specifically, a sword-wielding skeleton that seemed far too excited about doing battle. "Go." That voice. It called forth to her once more. "Go." Yvette could feel the same flame ignite within her belly that had been present earlier. When she was hunting down those skeletons. Only this instance, it was much more fervent. And she liked it. [break][break] A magic circle of silver color appeared underneath her, two large chains of matching color soon shooting forth from the circle shortly after. One of the chains coiled about her body and flung her skyward. Propelling her up, and over the large skeleton and julius vesper. Prompting Yvette to land behind the beast. Readying her palm, she would quickly gather silver magical energy and fire off three bullets sized orbs towards the Grand skeleton's back. [break][break] The other chain conjured would snap forward and wrap about a lone skeleton grunt. Squeezing and constricting, the chain would wrap about the creature until it would find itself crunched into a ball, the chain forming into something akin to a wrecking ball.* Now in its new form, the wrecking ball would crash down against two of the skeletons that charged towards Cassian Gérard.** Rising, it would then swing and crash into another skeleton, sending flying. Upon impact with the ground, it too would crumble.* Lastly, before the full disappearance of the chains, the wrecking ball dropped down onto another skeleton. Leaving rubble of the skeletons.*
[attr="class","notes"]tldr — yves exterminates 5 skeletons, leaving 10 left! flings herself over napoleon after the sword shield clash and fires magic bullets at napoleon from behind after landing.
after being rescued by the powers that be, it was a bit hazy--her memory, foggy even. she remembered being encircled by a bunch of skeletal bodied creatures. it was then, suddenly, she was whisked away by something that coiled around the waist of her body. but it was all foggy, too foggy. then, it wasn't until she was met with six eyes watching her awake. she'd look to see that these six eyes were none other then children!
"gah!?" she blurted out accidentally. the costume wearing female arose, rubbing her forehead only to let out a sting, "ouch! what the...did i hit my head?" she began to reflect. hitomi pondered on what happened, only for one of the children to say, "you ran into a pole when this flying, skirt-wearing girl came and rescued you!" the children exclaimed with glee, nodding and responding to the first child's fable tale. "a-a flying girl...? are you sure you're not just imagining things, kid?" hitomi stood only to dust herself. the child, responding, "no, no! it did happen, and then you tried to runaway and ran into this pole! we felt pretty bad for you, since we were hiding over there," they'd point toward a street corner, "and you were almost about to get eaten--so we came and helped!" hitomi, surprised by the children, was in awe struck that they actually came to fight monsters.
her heart grew three times big, "y-you children came and saved me? i-i don't know what to s-s-say...!?" she began to almost started to sprout liquid from her eyes, but before she could cry hitomi remembered, "you said a girl in some weird getup helped me?! which way did she go!" the children altogether pointed which way the mysterious figure fled. "thanks kids, now hurry home! i'm going to find that mystery girl and that bastard who ditched me!" hitomi, now angry, brought her right fist into the palm of her left hand, "that bastard thought he could ditch me and live to tell the tale? a beautiful heroine who actually took the time to save your sorry ass, and that's the thanks i get?!"
raising her arms and releasing an unquelled battle cry, she'd exclaim, "revenge!!" and thus took off spiraling into the direction the children pointed toward. searching for as to where the skeletal creatures were, there was a bright flash of lightning that gave way as if such a crash that was so close felt important. Her berets began to a glow a strange color, and as she touched them she felt a strange feeling that gave her a glint as though there was something, or someone, she knew over there. "i hope YVETTE YAMAMOTO 's okay in this mess, hopefully she went home!" worried for naught, little did she know that yvette was the one saved her earlier.
the beret's glow went over her head. it's small, brilliantly lit light shimmering one second and then not the next. "almost there--" she'd come to a halt upon arriving on the scene to see a battle unfold. before her there stood more--no--too many skeletons! what was this scary feeling, why was she so afraid? perhaps it is because this feels like it's straight out of an anime or some superhero cartoon--excluding the heroes if we're being honest.
hitomi couldn't see much, but it wasn't until she saw a figure coiled in chains soaring through the air, only to land behind some scary, crown wearing monster in front of her. what was this?! who was that! she needed to get a little closer for it seemed the soldiers of the larger skeletal being were too busy dealing with the chain flying woman--who just released a volley of weird, glowing orbs mind you! this was getting too freaky, totally too weird! she wanted to runaway and just go to bed, but at the same time...this was an experience! a once in a lifetime sight to behold. real life superheros--no--a magical girl!
hitomi wasn't able to see the individual the larger skeleton was fighting with and only took notice of the female who possessed a familiar figure from behind. she wasn't so sure of it, but she felt as if she were somehow familiar with that said individual. moving up closer, she'd come to watch from behind a vehicle. "no way..." and then she took notice of the male combating against the monster which looked to have been the leader of the skeletal army, "this is unreal...what?!" he created something out of nothing...this was getting crazier by the minute!
as hitomi continued to watch, her body began to grow hot. "i feel weird..." she thought to herself watching the fight from behind a vehicle. there were ten skeletons left, should she help out? no way, she'd only be in the way. her flower-shaped hairpins began to grow even brighter, and all hitomi had to do was utter a specific phrase or conduct a specific action. but, for now, all she could was watch. unaware that she also, just like the three powerful beings in front of her, had special gifts. she just needed to wake up and remember.
ooc notes: basically hitomi was unconscious for a bit after YVETTE YAMAMOTO saved her. now she's made her way onto the scene, but she's watching from behind a car as julius vesper and YVETTE YAMAMOTO fight against the napolean and his army of the undead. currently she's doing nothing so my post has no meaning or substance, but she's on the verge of joining/awakening next round. she's unaware that the girl fighting in front of her is YVETTE YAMAMOTO but is in awe of julius vesper and YVETTE YAMAMOTO being able to hold down the fort against the grande armee! go you two, woohoo!
[attr="class","diamond-text"] ”Okey-dokey. It’s fine.” Chin tilted upward, bloody hues shifted to Yvette. Eyebrows knitted, meeting to debate the bullshit spewing. Emotions snaked, fusing and confusing the blue-haired photographer. He desired to convey many amiable and bitter words to the group; however, the explosion of lightning knocked him on his ass as if shot in the chest, forcing him to reconsider if sticking around was worth it. Plus Yvette asked quite nicely, unlike the bleeding random running into danger. So he obliged without thinking. [break] [break] Climbing to a stand, teeth nipped at his bottom lip while watching the group run off to clearly save the day. They weren’t allowing him to be part of their power ranger games. Sighing, attention flipped to the girl who turned a weapon on him for a few ticks off the clock. Eyes rolled, regret instantly banging on the door. [break] [break] ”Me and you… Mmm.” a mumble under his breath, head shaking in disappoint. At least she wasn’t so calm like the other, fear consumed her. And the way his heart thunk thunk thunk against its cage. He felt the same, they connect slightly. While the others seem to have felt nothing, Casper like feelings. They marched ahead like this was another wild and crazy Halloween night. [break] [break] This should be a night to remember, one to frame in the paper above his name, or somewhere on an external hard drive. But now he was running away, potential cash fluttering in the wind ”Nah. I can’t do it, Emi.” Blue hair swayed left to right, backing away from the agreement. Feet shuffled to the car closes to the duo, using the lance, he shattered its window. ”Lay down in the back seat and you’ll be safe. “ arm carefully dodging glass, fingers unlocked the vehicle, the door swung open. Pure gentleman like even when his life is on the line. [break] [break] ”I’m following the others – be safe. Adieu” Ending everything that quick. Nudging her toward the safety of the car, Enzo gave her a half-ass salute, surely thinking he’d never see her again. She was quite lucky she didn’t meet one of his elbows and shoes. Giving her his back, he took off, heading straight in the direction the others flocked too, right where the lightning crackled the air. He could still feel it. [break] [break] Enzo’s camera gradually stopped bruising his chest, legs slowed down upon seeing a flaming spectacle on display. ”What in the fuck – excuse me.” bumping past a green haired lady, eyelids squinted, studying if everything was real or not… ”This is damn crazy.” He stated with a steadily growing smile. He most definitely does crazy, despite the danger signs. [break] [break] Snapsnapsnapsnap his camera convulsed, capturing whatever needed before he moved again. This time, the weapon he normally didn’t use at the ready. He charged sights set on the army from the grave and leader. [break] [break] Lowering his pole, he swept at the skeleton shins, dropping it to its knees. Taking a step back, he quickly followed up by beheading the creature with the serrated spear tip, two chops. Adrenaline and stressful situations were marvelous. Mother’s lifts cars to save their baby and Enzo growled before shanking a skeleton from behind repeatedly until it crumbled to the ground. Standing over the heap, breathing heavy, Enzo adjusted the grip on his weapon and then tossed the spear at the distinct skeleton donning a crown. He aimed for the head, really the crown in particular. [break] [break] ”Looking for survivors my ass.” he hissed at a familiar face. [break] [break]

"Excellent!!" The large skeletal man belted out in glee. Feeling adrenaline course through the bones of his remains as his strike was repelled by the sudden shield that was summoned. "I have never been graced with battling a wizard! This is thrill—" [break][break]
[!]
[break][break] An arrow was fired. Too fast to be dodged or repelled by his blade. Napoleon did the best he could to maneuver out of the oncoming projectile's path. And, while he managed to get away unscathed, the jewel that resided within his necklace took the brunt of the damage, shattering into minuscule pieces against the ground. "Argghh..." there was a sudden and... strange pain that filled his chest. Did he feel... sluggish? "Don't think this will st—"thud thud thud against his back, he felt a barrage of bullet like creations. Effectively causing him to stumble forward. With a growl, he turned to lay sight to the female who fired the obstructions. "You witch!" Blade rose, ready to strike. However, a spear was seen zipping through the air towards him. Effectively knocking his crown off his head. "BASTARDS!!" [break][break] With a mighty leap, Napoleon gained distance. His arms rose and a shroud of purple smoke began covering his body. "YOU LEAVE ME NO CHOICE. I'LL SHOW YOU THE POWER OF A KING!!" The remainder of the skulls stopped in their tracks, running to his side. Upon hearing him, they darted to his location, forming a wall in the protection of their king. Shields and swords at the ready, 9 more skeletons rose from the ground and assimilated into the defensive position. The smoke finally beginning to clear and leaving a cannon in its wake. [break][break] "PREPARE FOR THE END! THIS IS MY ARC DE TRIOMPHE DE L'ÉTOILE!!" [break][break]
