Chaos is known as the being that never became a star. It is everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time.
Neither good nor evil, the ultimate expression of nothingness. The antithesis of the cosmos, creation itself.
Although Chaos claims to be the very state of existence from which the first entities appeared, it cannot form into the entity it wants most.
So it has been cursed to stay in the form of a dark and shapeless void. Floating between existence and nonexistence.
Longingly watching as stars are constantly born and lives are lived. The seeds of malice had been planted, flourished and transformed Chaos into the purest form of evil.
Didn't know how to dance? She pulled her hand back just a bit, he didn't know how to dance? Didn't everybody take lessons to learn to dance? Is this not the basic of every child's education? She froze in spot as he mentioned about them going back in, before slipping his jacket on her shoulders this busting out a huge blush. A blush she reached tapping her hot cheeks with her ice-cold fingers slightly shocked by the sudden jump of heart. Swallowing attempting to regain her thoughts, this wasn't what she meant..
Lucky for her he paused is if coming to some sort of realization just how.. bad this looked especially to all those high rich head sons and heirs, instead asking if she should teach him how to dance. Even going so far ask thinking her own feelings about the situation, quickly she cleared her throat trying to clear her thoughts. Her body stood up straighter, as if the jacket's weight was long gone, more like emotional weight. Tying the jacket around her neck, much like a fancy sweater the rich folk wore on summer days. "Ahh yes, that I can do. You'll have to trust me of course, one such as yourself will probably struggle at first." She changed her position just a bit more flexibly, so she'd melt into his touch. Her icy-tipped fingers reaching out toward's his encouraging his hand to be on her waist. Her face mixture of blush and focus at the new task, teach a stranger how to properly dance. "Yes, like that, now step forward. You have to be less like a rock, more like.. Water fluid, touch on tempo of nature." She moved her other hand to touch his free one so every part of him will be connected to her own body, the blush growing warmer, the winds slightly picking up.
Moment she was certain he felt more at ease, she took the lead showing him step-by-step calm cautious movement. Her heart racing faster and faster pace not quite used to being near a man... and not hating his guts 190%.
notes: if either one of them manages to kiss, ill accept it
These studies... Were terribly inaccurate of the business world, No wonder all her newly made employees were so confused about HOW the real world worked. They just looked all so doe-eyed and were as confused as ever... She honestly debated that hiring somebody straight of high school was the better and wiser option. Her associates, rather board members controlling the portions of company... She didn't have time nor patience to control, all explained why most people don't work at such a young age. That and Oh yes, Degrees made a HUGE difference. Made her sick, even her own Mother felt this whole studying process was required for her to step up take complete control over the company.
She carried the textbook at her chest, right arm holding it in place, her left hand holding the phone to her ear. "Yes, I completely understand WHY a Business Degree with Communications as a minor IS so important. However I do not understand WHY the Professor thinks it is a great idea to use the program that is CLEARLY outdated by ten years! Even Fa-Even the most elder of Board members knew that! No.. I was not going to say Father! That is completely... I gotta go, library." She quickly hung up the phone face completely red, great if she wasn't careful her Mother was going to make her go to Counseling for insanity. Why was she the only one remembering her Father! Its like everyone seemed to forget the Old Diamond Man.
She gave a small growl shoving her books near by table, not even caring to disturb the man reading a book, with a chess board in front of him. The book slammed reading "Communications - your everyday business" the textbook required to any who took the course. Some of the homework requiring blogging and just absolute homework that was silly and pointless. They all knew what blogging was, no need to do such thing. She had her own site on Jewelry and complications of how to master Gemology, why did students her age have to study such.. Low level, outdated, and not at all... Required things. Why couldn't she just pay a Private school and just skip all the classes? Networking, yes that was what the board said. NETWORKING! She read the paperwork! They wanted her to find a man and get married! Like those who are here, going to be WORTH taking over the company, nutjobs!
She huffed angrily opening the book reading the First line of their next chapter, "Media has become the center of life, everyday it grows in power, as such one expanding their business should use the Social Media to express their international good. Many actors and songwriters post up their creations to catch national attention, why...." This.... Is... Worth One thousand dollars? Not that it really mattered to her, but this... basic level readings were worth one thousand dollars? Why would a university such highclass have such low class books? She forced herself to keep reading, but it was clearly from the way her face turned redder and redder shewas just getting angrier. Notes: I'm thinking maybe they both take the same Communications class, and he already did the homework. Offers his help, that she completely denies. Then the two start witty bantering from there. It is 100% up to you whether or not he heard her phone call. choice of outfit - Her Hover image, I'm too lazy to go back and add/describe the outfit.
"It's not that..." What was it like? She could see it clearly the more she thought about it, the more she analyzed it. She felt the frustration of being played build up, causing her blush to grow a bit brighter red. Her mind turning this paranoia turmoil that only grew, till it suddenly deflated as he started... Struggling to explain something about going to parties nonstop, about being rich. Her mind flickered to the guy coming to her shop, he wasn't directly speaking to her, rather... It was just she happened to be closer.. and free-ish at the time. As he continued, she just felt this huge bile of guilt building up. Why did she think he was playing her? Just another pawn in the huge game of politics and pawns, this guy was seriously clueless, networking... He was new to all this... This whole complex game, here in New Paris. He of course he made all this worst by just throwing obvious thing after obvious thing just how.. NOT going after her he was.
Before she knew it, she rubbed her arm completely aware that he had made her feel bad a second time for being such a quick to judge type person. The red anger blush completely faded away, she slowly released a cool breath relaxing her guard, probably first time in almost forever. Shaking her head gaze filling with a soft pity, she looked at him gently before speaking. "You really don't know.. Do you... What's its like to be..." She paused trying to figure out how to explain this herself looking away upward to the moon, "rich.. high up.. the hierarchy of business.. All the parties.. All the attention...
Her attention turned back to hims, amber eyes shining clear and focused. Both hands playing against each other, uncertain, before slowly reaching outward to gently touch his right shoulder. A small smile appearing on her face, "I'm glad you are taking the time to comfort me, and not try to use me." What should she add this? He clearly struggling here... As well... Just.. How.. Does one connect to poor people? Are all poor people this daft? "Yo-you are pretty observant, even though... yo-you " were daft... mediocre... Loner.. Hider... pathetic... Male..."are new to all this." Phew. She relaxed pulling away her arm, clearing her throat straightening up, her eyes taking a more focused... less hurt look. Holding out her hand, "Do you wish to dance? Sir prosecutor."
Notes: the dance part, was.. Blame the music playlist was listening to.
The conversation with that one guy... At the party, it left a slight foul flavor in her mouth, made her want to do try and be more "normal" against her father's wishes. That's right, she.. she.. Could be normal! Just.. One night. Thus here she was finding herself standing staring at the flashy night of Dreamland, the amusement park where all wish to be at. She... Disgusted by all of it, just stood there wearing highly overprices blue/black jeans mixed with a rather nice white blouse on.
She can do this.. She can handle this, she was normal, she wasn't some prissy female. Okay, maybe this was a terrible idea, she stood at security check handing over her things heart pounding. What if some guy found this as an excuse to hang out with her all night? Try to take her company from her, no... Stop that. They can't do that unless you marry, noel. Everything will be great, you look great.
Passing security, she paid for the ticket, easy pesy. Entered the park holding her satchel, leather.. black leather... In her hand. The outfit she attempted to look as cheap and "normal" as she possibly could, only to fail to realize.. normal people don't carry around highly rare designer leather bags, nor wore sunglasses at night.. nor carry what looked to be an unreleased cellphone in the pocket of their bag. Then her hair, well it was long, white like a diamond, and fancy curl. She... and Her gems.. She absolutely barely... managed not to wear any precious gems. Then stress of this whole situation, she began to chew gum. normal people chewed gum right? Wearing highly expensive bot heels right?
She stood there, hip tilted almost looking like a model that had just walked into the Amusement park with absolute no care in the world. People, noticing.. Smelling the richness on her.. She barely noticed, too busy studying the map of the park. Okay.. she just goes one round... Tell him she did it. Made small party... lived normal happy life. One night.. Well.. however long took to make on lap of the park. WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?!
Summary: She came to the amusement park to prove, she can handle a simple normal human activity. Only to fail dressing like a normal person, and is clueless how horrible her writer is to throw her into worst opportunities in this thread.
There seemed a long pause, just long enough for her gaze to wander actually looking at the guy before her rather as a price tag, but another fellow at the party. He had rather short hair, wore a nice outfit, nice for his budget... You work with what you are given, the more work.. The more appreciation should be given. He spoke cautiously about not being good with people, she hummed on these words turning them over in her mind.
That certainly would explain his pausing, soft nature, and possibly thoughtfulness? She tilted her head a bit more still thinking over his words, as he continued about being a prosecutor and being invited by another to come and network. Well.. That would cetainly flop, with him being an awkward silent character. Then... Maybe he was such a professional knew how to appear certain ay to get others to trust him, perhaps this was all motive to get to know her better? Get the connections she had, quite a few, especially Media and Gemologists.
"I..don't know how you feel..." She flinched not quite understanding what he meant by that exact statement. "Is that it? Are you incapable of feeling what others feel, almost as if you were shut off?"like a diamond... or gem.. She felt a slight flinch, her Father he was a Diamond, the clearest sharpest coldest diamond out there. Capable seing right through you, incapable of feeling what you were feeling.. proclaiming that tears were for those who wanted nothing more than attention, attention that should be spent more business or marriage. She gave a small sigh as he explained about the brooch, yes the brooch, yes another thing in the day."I...you helped me pick a brooch." With a small quiet look, she looked in the distance where the flags were blowing on the wind. "If you want to..talk...I'll listen." There it was, the talk and listen, the reoslution of people gaining trust... her trust, a movement to raise in the heirarchy, a rather foolish movement.. A manipulation tactic, she felt herself tighten up, a wall rising. She was particularly happy he caught on her little growth of anger, changing the subject about small parties. Unless this too.. was a manipulation tactic... Attempt to hang out with her more, invite her to his own. Probably a small pathetic party, where only the mediocre go to, where everything was all dandy and happy.. Drunk parties.
She turned to him once more, studying him, she put on a much rough angled movements, clearly attemtping to cut off any his attempt to be friendly. Just another trick in the book. "I do not prefer to be alone, the better question will be is do you?" She paused slightly raising higher in her heels, "You have issues understanding others, correct? Well, why not explain, I'll certainly listen. It is quite contrary you may be incapable of speaking with others, yet here you are speaking.. with.. with.. me" She paused on that last part.
Halloween, the first holiday to set-up for the greatest holiday ever, Christmas. This was the holiday that slowly turns shoppers into well omega shoppers, by offering alluring ideals to be somebody they were not, offering treasures of candy by the bucket load. Many stores put out decorations to celebrate this holiday, and as well allure the guests in by the huge creeping sides at their door. Her own jewelry shop has done the same, with lovely Halloween trees, webs, and small ghosts hanging around... All perfectly placed to prevent camera distortion or light distortion, after all Light.. Is the Gem's perfection, shows just how marvelous it could be!
It was time to leave her heart's home, time to wander the mall.. Eventually hit off the exit. Maybe she'll check out the competition, just to see what they had hanging on their doors this year go around. She took a small happy breath, making a small excited noise, truly she was just super excited to see something different in the mall. But one must stay poise, and shine like a gem.
Walking forward, she slowly made her way store to store checking out their directions. Some were absolutely creative, why one toy's store even had the decoration move encouraging children to steal from its bowl. Another was simple scary looking deer...with motion detector capabilities, it creeped her how its eyes followed her, till someone walked up behind her taking the motion detector's full attention. Next year, she should get one in a much much similar fashion. A small smile crossed her face, soon her attention was so focused on all the little decorations.. She didn't notice any passing pedestrians, how careless of her!
His silent still, very very soft dry comment made her pause. He had no plans to be a secretary? As if that was.. She gave a small little giggle that soon busted into laughter, this guy. She covered her mouth soon giving a small cough, "Forgive me, that was rude of me. I hadn't expected such a straightforward answer." Her face gave a small blush at the admittance of her own crimes.
He continued on the conversation explaining he was invited, she raised an eyebrow waiting for more information. As well quite curious on who would invite such a still odd fellow to the party. He certainly felt an antipartyman. He then asked her the same, why was she here? She gave a small dramatic sigh, "The life of a Jewelry store owner, along with owning an jewelry comes my way" She placed her hand on forehead dramatically. "Every single rich man here wishes to just to have great connections with a girl like me." The way she said it made sound extremely to have such a connection, and all the guys were just pigs wanting her.. The gem of gems of females.
She gave a small purr, "It actually gets tiring and boring, but its required to keep company image. After all these fellows, and their little mates, all buy from my store bringing all the riches along with them. Whats one event? What... A week? Every other week? " She sighed feeling slightly down, leaning on the balcony just a bit, "It feels different now... Without my father.. As if the world watching me so closely, to slip up.. To catch me, and pull me into this miserable rich cult the top society has created." She paused suddenly turning with a blush toward him, "Forgive me, I went too far. Why would one like you wish to be here of all places.... You don't really read as a party man."
Happy to finish the transaction, she'd sent him on his way, another success customer. Once he was gone, she returned her work checking and every jewel, before having to leave to get ready for the party that night. Oh yes, the boringness of business.
At the party she wore a swan white dressed, themed with feathers along the design.. She was the absolute best picking out dresses for their price, it came with practice dealing with jewelry. Speaking of jewelry she had simple white diamonds, rather simple shapes of small birds for earrings and necklace. The necklace of course silver chained, with the bird as a small little trinket.
She once more found herself, avoiding the party, it just... So obnoxious all those men, all those business partners. Gets boring making connections after the first two hours, only to realize... All they cared about was complimenting your outfit, your youth, and asking if you would like a drink. They'll happily grab one. The absolute fools, probably planned to drug her, probably sign papers or some annoying agenda. Oh well. Why she's out here, minding her own... Starry gem night.
Then, her peaceful night was broken, the cool air... Drifting away forgotten. By a voice behind her, Why... The male had the courtesy to call out her name in most respectful manners, quite... Impressive. She turned expecting some large corp, or maybe a secretary of such a corp. A son? Possibly heir.
What she didn't expect was the male who was just at her little jewelry home earlier that day, wearing the very object she suggested he to buy. She shifted slightly on the balcony she leaned on, heart sputtering a moment impressed by his courage. Quickly wiping it away, he was after all mediocre... Just another wannabe. "Monsieur Vesper, This is the formal you spoke of earlier. My, my you should have picked the pricier one. May even get a simple secretary job for one of these great men." She called out his name, recalling the paperwork she had to fill out as well his card, one should never forget a customer.... Most of the time.
She shifted slightly, again naturally exposing more skin in rather natural feminine manipulating mannerisms. Something by now she was highly unaware of, and probably do nonstop should she do it on purpose. "How did you manage to get an invite here?" She asked coyly, though there was a small hint of rudeness and very little expectation for him. As if she expected the excuse to be.. rob all the females here or to report on the event with my pathetic camera and journalistic skills.
He wished not to have protection, she gave a silent nod of acceptance typing this information into the computer, not bothering to argue with him. Then he spoke, curious gazed holding an arch brow. 'is that the only one left?', she hesitated at his question, why did he ask that? Why did he care? If this was the only one left, she looked up at him studying him hard. Quite peculiar question, a man being worried about something other than himself or his company. She gave a small gentle sigh, might as well answer the question, a small passion flowing down her heart to her finger tips holding the gem. "There is never more than 1 in any jeweler's home, if they attempt to reproduce a gem design to look exactly the same, then they are not true jeweler's. Each one of our products is treated as if they are individual unique from one another. As the gems we cut are each following a unique path, birth from their own homes.. Pressured and moved, they are not simply molded to look the same.. much like you shoes or cellphones."
She gently placed it into a fancy box, showing it clearly to him how gentle and much passion she put into this movement. Turning to him once more eyes large, almost desperately calling him to understand what she was talking about. "These are not just products... But creations to be enjoyed by all who set eye on them. Do you wish to make payments over time or all at once? payments are simply 10 dollars a month for a full two years, it goes up from there." She looked at him, studying him, debating that he'd pay the higher price versus lower longevity method. After all.. Who wants to be in-debt to a jewelry company? Plus with interest rate, it'll in the end make him poorer.
As he wished to look at both, she silently... silently judging on the inside.. Watched as he actually debated on the broach whether or not to actually buy the more expensive. Really, she doesn't understand why people debate... You can always guess the end result, it will always be the cheap on.. Unless you encourage them, or they have a party with them. Seriously, just waste of time.
Eventually he did pick the cheaper one out of the two, it didn't really hurt her jewelry store as a whole... mediocres come in, spend couple bucks, get the hell out. It was a rather simple process, and really men were so damn pathetic she cared even less. Just too bad, that rooster was such a lovely thing, really really suited him.
Shrugging all the thoughts, she gave a nod, went around him and the counter, pulling a key, soon unlocking the case and pulling out the broach. Once pulling it out, she showed him to take a more personal closer look, moment he gave a nod approval she'd ring him up. "Is there anything else you'll like? Such as protection should a gem pop out, or.." Protocol... Faster you go through the motions, the faster they get out. Filthy, dirty, men. Moronic waste of time. Just too bad, something about him.. Reminded her of her father, why did that just piss her even more off?
He explained the situation, along with asking a question? Statement? Before finishing with his actual question of her suggestion. Oh? So he was going to a formal party, what type of formal party with a black suit? Hmm.. She turned from him toward the case, her pose slightly changing to be more thoughtful, arms in front, hand hovering under chin.
Her eyes scanned the different designs debating on which one matched this pecuilar individual. He put off a silent type, maybe a black cat? Her eyes looked voer at the cat, no what if the formal party had people superstitious, it was cheap though. Her eyes flickered over to the one near by, a white dove? It was peace and harmony, although due to the diamond quartz mix it was extremely expensive. Her eyes moved over to more traditional such as four leaf clover, or a simple flower. No. No. Ugh. She looked back to the customer in thought, okay standing up straight... Perfectly analytical. Required.. Something else.
Her frustration grew, she turned toward the broaches again. What would fit? A book, no, laptop. No. She had one or two ideas what pick.. but she wasn't sure how he would feel about them. 1 was pricey, less than what she estimated was his price range by looks alone.. The other, was rather cheap. "How about that one?" She pointed to the more pricey one first, waiting for his response. If he declined, she'd point to the next one, "How about this one instead?" Should he deny both, she'd put more effort into expression why he should buy the more pricey one, how it suits who he is.
"can someone help me?" a voice came from a male with short black hair beside her, she turned giving the male standing by all the broaches her full attention. "Yes, Sir what can I do for you?" She asked walking over taking in his nice looking outfit, and scents coming off him. Was that a mediocre scent? Estimated money amount, medium range, price level medium to low. Customer importance, why the same as any other, perhaps lower than most. Male, incredibly daft possibly even useless in terms of such majestic values products.
She put on a small flair, that would def be noticed by most, probably missed by this peculiar individual. A small flair of hand movement to expose the correct portions of feminine sections, to arouse individuals and lower defenses. The skill taught by her father at a rather young age, in an attempt to get somebody to marry her. Too bad she never said yes to all suitors given.
A woman with was in the back room wearing what looked to be expensive black leather pants, and a rather nice looking loose black blouse. Her long hair was hanging loose all mixture of curl and straight, as if she curled the hair before letting it hang naturally being pulled to straight over time. Her earrings looked overpriced and had a slight flair to them, why the gems looks to be Tahiti black pearl carved to look like a lotus flower. This followed by a simple tahiti black pearl necklace around her neck, it was clear from these gems alone who was the richest person in that whole building. Well that.. and her name was in the store's named after all. "de Masséur Jewelry", something that the the family had built from nothing long long many generations ago.
Holding out a small diamond, she inspected its color and cut. She must make sure none, absolutely none were replaced with fake ones, there had been a recent.. Oddities going around with other gem places, and she better not learn it was her business doing it. Once she was certain with this fine collection of pink diamonds were of correct value, she placed them back in the vault, picked herself up with practiced grace of ballad and headed toward the front.
She looked over the selections, two employees wearing black suites looking like they were dealing with customers, certainly looked from time to time in her direction. By the way they were acting, they didn't want to upset her, and knew exactly what would happen should she decide... They weren't sparkly enough for their shining gem company.
She was lost in the beauty of the city, that she hadn't quite expected a tap on the shoulder. The small pressure point made her turned curious just whom decided it was worth their job to bother her. Expecting really a lowlife waiter or a fellow employee of her business. What she didn't except was an odd woman with long green pony-tailed hair wearing a slim navy suit, rose red eyes.
White hair woman looked the girl up and down rather curious as to why this random individual decided to bother her, before she could speculate, woman explained it was a dull night.. That she too needed to escape, interesting. A small gentle smile formed on her face as she accepted the individual before her. "Yes, it is completely tiring in there. With all those men attempting to feed their ego, isn't it?" She stated sounding as if this was some sort of test, in an almost soft kind deceitful tone. For a moment she flickered her eyes over the city recalling just how their meeting had gone. "Its a nice view is it not? Make anyone's night even better, like a gem glistening under water."
With a small sigh she held out her hand in complete manners greeting, "Nice to meet your acquaintance, I'm Noel de Masséur."
Business Dinner meeting, the absolute Worst Friday night for any average human being, but she enjoyed it. The discussion, debate, Figuring exactly which areas to buy out and expand mining material for their gems expansion. It was always about getting the news of Gems before the news and other companies, be on top, be faster. She swore off stealing or buying illegal gems, as such the company had a bit of struggle, but some odd reason it didn't effect the company too much, almost went too smoothly. Excusing herself from the table with a slight bow, explaining she needed fresh air. Something about having a bit rich wine always made her face grow warm, and crave the winds of the city.
She walked passed the tables, echoes of dine wear and conversation surrounding her, she didn't focus on the conversations, as most were just couples... Rare did you find business men peak too loudly, unless they were fat pigs who deserved to be dethroned. Once reaching the door, quietness of paris night surrounded her. She stood outside railing taking a deep breath, enjoying the view of many lights from all the buildings below. Old paris had a much different view, less... Sophisticated. This, New Paris, the home she was raised in.. Was thousands of gems purposefully intricate and placed to cause the most perfect light signature, a small dance.
A small smile crossed her face, she leaned on the balcony enjoying the growing winter winds, her favorite season. Something about those small chills was comforting, like a hug, was it a reminder of her Father's cold love? She dared not explore that imagery. Should somebody walk by they'd see a woman with albino white hair curled falling down past her waist, the woman wearing a sparkly white dressed. This dress as she shifts and moved caught on different lights, almost like it was a decoration of the Tower itself, the Moonlight gazing down. She quietly hummed to herself a small christmas carol, it was a secret past time.. She never admitted to.
